Edited by eternal_napalm: 2/26/2016 8:20:52 PMLibs spposedly believe in 'equality', unless it's how much money they can steal from you while giving a facepalm worthy, self-righteous ethical lecture. Then equality loses the equality. Lol.

3 RepliesWell....what if we stopped spending so much on our military and used it for this instead of raising taxes?

7 RepliesEdited by LowIQPlayz3445: 2/25/2016 7:55:30 AMHealthcare plus all the other stuff like free college is. Especially to the lower classes (which is kinda the point of socialistic programs). If you make under 18k per year you have at least college and healthcare covered for less than $1800. That's really not too shabby. And while the higher (250k+) does take a large jump, it's still very comfortably livable. You'd have a hard time convincing me you can't live off of 130k+ per year (because you get payroll tax back). Note: This is designed to help the nation as a whole. If the mass majority prospers (the lower classes), everyone will.

29 RepliesEdited by LowIQPlayz3445: 2/26/2016 5:32:32 PMOh no! If you make 250k you'd be reduced to 100k! How will you survive such meager living conditions?!? Oh the humanity of it all!
/satire

ITT: People who don't realize you get payroll tax back
5 RepliesWhy do you think company's are moving there HQ to countries like Ireland and Switzerland. LOW TAXES! The United States has some of the highest taxes in developed countries.

I pay $10! Dollars a week for healthcare Blue Cross Blue Shields real good shit through my company. 6 RepliesPersonally i am a flat tax man. Make everything for all people 10-20% tax rate, that is true equality and does not hamper upward mobility for anyone. I would be ok for paying more taxes than that IF i knew it was being properly spent and not wasted. A large portion of taxes go straight to failing programs or big interest. For example there was a town in Texas that recently had black sludge coming out of their faucets. The cause? Over 2 decades of neglect and not cleaning their water system. Whether its state or federal i thought that taxes went to stuff like that. But for 2 decades it did not. So where did it go? A fiscally conservative government that reports where its money goes is the ideal. However what we have is runaway spending, soon more national debt that gdp (which is bankruptcy), and ever increasing costs on collapsing systems like social security. Raising taxes is not the answer people fixing the damn system of waste is.

21 RepliesEdited by MuvementSpeed: 2/25/2016 8:30:29 AMMy god, those taxes are so hi-. Oh, it's only a 2% increase on my current taxes. So.. that's what... not eating fast food every single day and revoking my Xbox Live bill per month? I can live with that. That's just personal income too, combined with my roommate, that's pretty much us just not preordering video games and not spending money on mountain sized pizzas from Mountain Mike's every day for every month. I personally don't mind paying 2% extra taxes to ensure free healthcare and free education. I can do without eating fast food every single day and I don't really play on my Xbox 360 as much as I did back in high school.
