I'm sorry but it really isn't that hard to type out grammatically correct, coherent sentences. I can't read a post without picking out 15 wrong uses of your and you're, or their, there, and they're. Use your big kid words.

I'm sorry but it really isn't that hard to type out grammatically correct, coherent sentences. I can't read a post without picking out 15 wrong uses of your and you're, or their, there, and they're. Use your big kid words.
Firstly, speaking English is an irrelevant term in this conversation because in verbal communication one does not consider commas or differentiate between their/there. Secondly, for the purpose of this subject, there's quite a bit of distance between being coherent and grammatically correct. One can improperly use their/there and still communicate with precision the point they're trying to get across. So, coherence is more important than grammar; the previous sentence improperly ends with a preposition but I bet you understood what I was trying to communicate, right? Even though your grammar isn't the tightest, even though you make mistakes too, I wouldn't pick them all out because these are forums and the style of communication here is informal. Don't read people's posts like you're marking homework, not unless your grammar is 100% perfect.

Yes it is, and what comes to actually pronouncing words out loud, is superhard :D. I'd rather just play with ppl who speak the same language.

I'd say if you can pick out the incorrect grammer you can tell what people are telling you. No go back to school and try an be a person not a computer stuck on spell check. muted

Does it matter? If you can't understand fair enough. But as long as you can understand what the person is saying it shouldn't matter. People these days, they act like it's a crime to misspell something and you should go to gaol for it...

1 ReplyEdited by SirRichard: 2/21/2016 9:05:03 AMThere is a comma missing in your "grammatically correct" sentence. Never throw stones when sitting in a house of glass.

1 ReplyEdited by SolarCerberuS: 2/21/2016 6:55:17 AMIf you cannot read a sentence with small grammatical and spelling errors you must have some severe brain damage, it is a well known fact the average or even below average human brain can read and interpret words and sentences with many spelling mistakes or missing words entirely. Lets be honest there is a difference between can't read a post and won't read a post, just remember this is an online game forum not a job application to NASA, there may be kids there may be those who are intoxicated, end of the day is it really that important in a forum?
