Does anyone play Ark: Survival Evolved on XB1?

I'm trying to get into the non-single player side of things but the server I joined is full of well established tribes that have turrets everywhere, and they basically maul you with dinos and frogs on site. I also haven't been able to join all day. Are the same 70 people having a game marathon? Jesus.

I love it. Myself and another guy founded the strongest tribe on our server. We've got a lot of good players, and lots of good dinos.

3 RepliesI play with a group of 5 friends, when we joined our server 2-4 tribes were well established, after two weeks we're now the strongest tribe in the server. I love it.

9 RepliesYeah it's good. But I suggest finding a player dedicated server that open most of the time. I found one and it's so much more fun knowing I have a reliable server and are not stuck to non-dedicated and official servers. Non-dedicated is fine but you can go to far from the host and officials are always full.

1 ReplyProbably the only game where every single one of me and my buddies play together, we wake up early so we can join our server (server populations drops dramatically at those times). We are about 14 and a good portion of other players joined our tribe. We currently are catching our third T-Rex but we have to stop taming whatever we see because we also need the food for ourselves.

1 ReplyEdited by a clumsy scrub: 1/6/2016 1:17:13 AMLevel 52 on a PvE server (pve na xboxofficialserver 76) Going ham lol So far, Ive tamed a phlomia (dead), 2 raptors (dead), a direwolf (dead), a dilophosaurus (dead), a mesopithicus/monkey (alive), a Sarco/crocodile (alive), 2 kairaku/penguins (1 dead, 1 alive), and 2 pteradons (1 dead -I no scoped it- and 1 alive) With the pteradons, I shot mine which my tribe and I had just tamed maybe 2 or 3 hours before. I was trying to climb a ladder on some dickheads house because I want to lock him in a hut and starve him to death (long story, he deseves it). Every time, I would get half way up the ladder, then the damn pteradon would fly into it, knocking me off. I had no choice but to keep him following me, or Id risk leaving him in the dickheads base and having no ride home. Anyways, I got really annoyed and just shot randomly with my longneck sniper. Surely enough, one shot one kill. My heart sank, and I felt like a jackass. I immediately set out to get another pteradon, and I did. Now I just need to hope my friends dont notice that the new pteradon is green and not red looool

Only good on a dedicated server preferably a friends bc people build up before they open it up to pvp

6 RepliesMost people buy it, die constantly before establishing themselves and call it a bad game. You need to get a small hut and after you tame your first dino it really opens up, remember though it's early access. Expect bugs, crashes and full servers till the full release later this year.
