You know...that seems pretty darn balanced to me.

Primary: I saw/heard a lot of MIDA, HardLight, and Doctrine. Secondary: Mostly high range shotguns (I thought they "balanced" them). If there was a sniper on the field it was the 1000 yard stare. Heavy: Harrowed Terminus. Once in a while Truth would show up. Balanced, maybe. But from an overall weapon standpoint, boring people always use the same thing.

really? all i saw were mainly midas, ct-d, 1000ys. and the ocasionaly auto rifle/pluse rifle.

2 RepliesI would agree except that the only handcannon that killed me was TLW, and I didn't get killed by fusion rifles. And the only scout rifle (that I remember) that killed me was MIDA. Oh, and don't forget about the various kinds of grenades (except for hunter grenades). Oh, and I got shoulder charged a ton, and warlock slapped, too.

It's sad really that all these weapons are viable yet people won't use them. Also, as far as MIDA goes... I don't care if people use it or anything but for the love of my sanity that blasted clicking sound it makes from shooting needs to go!! drives me insane

1 ReplyYeah, I was thinking about this the other day.. People have been complaining about "everybody is using Mida" .. and I have seen plenty of them, but really, this has been a VERY diverse Iron Banner, lots of different weapons, all the different weapon types... Happy about it!

7 RepliesEdited by TheArtist: 1/4/2016 2:36:17 PMThe abilities and heavy weapons are pretty balanced. The ranges of the weapons---despite Bungie-----are pretty balanced. The DAMAGE of the primary weapons are still out of balance....and primary weapons to special weapons are still badly out of balance. Shotguns were bascially reduced to melee weapons....so there is almost no counter to TLW. As a result close combat is unpredictable---since both ARs and shotguns are now weak----and more people are using snipers. PRs ahve been weakened to the point that they can't keep TLW spammers from simply rushing you, or scout rifles users from encroaching into mid-range. Which is why MIDA is being so overused right now. Its fire-rate gives mid-range fighters a more reliable weapon...and its perfect for shutting down snipers if you can get headshots with it.
