Handcannons:Range or stability?

What's better for a HC overall for crucible? I have an eyasluna, and a Finallas peril both with high stability and I do well with them. I just got an Imago loop that's all range with hidden hand, and I've heard range is better by some. Opinions? Facts? Tell me

  • Range > stability for me. Stability doesn't matter if you aren't using TLW

    • Range is far more important. It's tied to accuracy. Not only will damage falloff start sooner, but with low range, you lose bullet magnetism sooner too. If you want to be able to hit critical at a decent range, you need a higher range stat. As long as stability isn't minimum, you really won't notice a giant difference.

    • I prefer stability. Can't hit a target if you can't control the gun. Applies to real life also.
