[BUNGIE] "Weapon Master" Quest step issues have been resolved
Issues impacting the Weapon Master Quest have been resolved. If you haven't previously acquired this Quest step, please see Lord Shaxx in the Tower.

Previously, these Quests would unlock sequentially. With Update 2.0.2, changes were made where some Quests now unlock at the same time. Additionally, ensure that you have not abandoned any related Quests by inspecting your [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13491]Abandoned Quest Collection[/url]. Please note: We are aware of an issue where [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/14207]players cannot access Page 2 and beyond of the Abandoned Quest Collection[/url]. In order to access these Quests, players must retrieve all Quests on page 1 of the collection. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I just had this problem in November 2016. I was stuck with the pulse rifles section. Eventually I tried deleting the quest and then picking it up again from the abandoned quests kiosk and it worked just fine after that.

Not to necro post, but this is broken as 9-19-2016. Burst of Bullets is not registering kills with pulse rifles and the rest of the Mountaintop quest line is not available and my character cannot continue.

for me, Burst of bullets is not working. i get more than 15 kills per match and most are PR kills, but its still not updating it.

Any chance you could disable it again? It's kind of bullshit that I have to use Pulse, Scout, and Hand cannons (either terrible or OP guns, depending on which) to complete anything in this game.

1 ReplyI am attempting to progress with the mountaintop quest chain but am stuck. There are 2 primary issues: 1. The only cruicible quest currently equipped on my character is Weapon Master. I have already completed or accepted all previously abandoned quests from the kiosk. I am not offered any other quests from Shakx or the quartermaster. There are no quests available from the kiosk. 2. Although I was able to complete More Bullets with auto rifles for Weapon Master, I can make no progress on Burst of Bullets with pulse rifles. I just finished another Skirmish 3v3 match, winning with Red Death, 15 kills (mostly RD) but still 0/4 for Matches with 6+ Pulse Rifle Kills.

To work around this, please accept all quests in your Abandoned Quests kiosk. Doing so will cycle all quests to the front page where you can accept them. 10 RepliesEven at this time, this issue is not fixed. I just finished Weapon Master on the grind to year 2 triumph and it is literally the only thing left that I need. However, Shax does not prompt me with the quest nor is it in my abandoned quests. I have tried the picking up quests glitch but that didn't work either. The fact that one of your moments of triumph for year 2 is broken is just sad Bungie. Please fix this decently soon so I'm not stuck 1 away from the reward because of something that isn't even my fault.

I just finished the more bullets quest for the gun master. During this quest line I finished a step for the mountain top. I think it was the last one before you get the final step. I'm confused at the moment, I have no icons for the last step. My active quests do not have any steps for the Mountaintop. My Kiosk for abandoned quests does not have any additional steps for the Mountaintop, it only has page 1 of 2, and page 2 is completely empty can someone assist?

Just finished my crucible quests, apart from the more bullets which was bugged so I deleted it. Now my abandoned quest terminal is messed up and still no mountain top quest has popped ... Any ideas ?

I'm unable to advance in the "Weapons Master" Step 1: Auto Rifle kills quest. I'm below average in PvP but managed to get at least 12 back-to-back kills in a single match using only a zhalo super cell, but not showing any progress (the quest requires completing four matches with 6 or more auto rifles kills)... am I missing a critical detail, such as having to actually place first in the winning team with those six AR kills?

Is there any progress on this? I don't need the Mountain Top quest, I'm after the 500 XP from the weapon's master quest so I can rank up my gunsmith without having to wait a whole week for more test weapons. Trying to slog through inane parts like this genuinely make it not fun, but then to just find out it may be all for naught and I'll STILL have to wait another week doesn't really sit well with me. I just got the "Weapons Master" quest, and before I even bother going through with it I want to know if it is better now.

I am sitting at "More Bullets" quest step 1 which is Auto-Rifle kills, I am unable to continue any further even after waiting for a month for this to be fixed. How do I get "The Mountain Top" Quest from Lord Shaxx? When I talk to him he has nothing for me.
