Golgoroth Challenge Guide
Six different gaze grabbers. One orb strat still works. Deaths don't matter, order does not matter. Assign numbers, 1-6. Break the first orb, jump down, dps. Player with unstable light jumps out, grabs gaze. Everyone else jumps out, take turns getting gaze. After all six players have had it, drop the gaze, rinse and repeat.
Will post video as soon as I get some sleep.
Just trying to put information in one spot for people to find.
Lots of salt and anger for some reason. Man, this community really irritates me sometimes.

1 ReplyMy team did a stray where the two Highest DPS also dropped the front right orb when the last person was picking up the gaze. Helped put getting it done really quickly instead of just waiting for the 20 seconds for it to drop.

2 RepliesTo increase the damage you do in each rotation you can drop the other front orb when the 6th person takes the gaze and everyone can drop back down into the pit and carry on shooting until the gaze is lost. Then rinse and repeat.

7 RepliesJust a hint here: If you are struggling, [b]do the gaze passing part FIRST[/b] and DPS on the last person to hold the gaze. Fight goes like this: Clear adds, Calmly pass the gaze between 4 players while clearing cursed thrall When player 5 takes the gaze you drop the Orb puddle and drop in Player 6 takes the gaze, player 5 goes to the puddle, you all DPS Unstable light player runs away You jump out & repeat. you can't get 2 damage phases in 1 gaze this way, but it is safe and calm.

Could have swarn they apologized about people who use the one orb strat. Seems like it's just another "play the way we designed" challenge like warpriest.

Edited by BERSEKAEL: 12/9/2015 5:35:28 PMGot it done yesterday on hard mode, how we did was pretty easy. 1. Use only one pool/bubble, just like before. 2. Everybody jump out and help taking down orbs coming out from golgoroth's chest. 3. Everybody, and one by one takes the gaze as soon as he opens his back. (This is the only new mechanic and the best way is packing at the entrance's door right infront of golgoroth while one by one goes behind him to shoot his back, use sniper for golgoroth and heavy machine gun for orbs) 4. Repeat, and just at the last wave use 2 pools, when he enrages. We did it quick, in 1 try. Rewards a 320 artifact, 320 chest, calcified fragment, grimoire score and emblem (the spider one, in my titan), aside from usual rewards

2 RepliesI didn't attempt it yesterday due to low time and was checking out the boring ass racing, but it's confirmed one orb works with different holders just like warpriest thank you that just makes it even easier usually kill it in 4 orbs so cool cool thanks

4 RepliesEdited by JHarv: 12/8/2015 6:00:02 PMOr you can be super efficient with this strategy. -1st person takes gaze, remaining break orb and jump down to DPS - Person to get Unstable Light jumps out to take gaze, remaining DPS players continue. - all remaining players jump out, start a rotation of taking the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and final gazes. - While on the 5th gaze, remaining players clear cursed thrall and shoot down second orb - 6th and final player takes last gaze, and instead of waiting it out, all other players take down the second orb, jump down and do another round of DPS So in short, 1st person does gaze, players jump down to DPS in the 1st orb pool, Unstable Light jumps out to be 2nd gaze, everyone jump out, 3rd, 4th, 5th gaze transfer quickly, and on 6th gaze, break the second orb and do another round of DPS.
