Remove sidearms entirely?
Sidearms are a huge flop. They were merely created to give the illusion of more gear but they are terrible. They didn't even make a raid version. Yet extra sidearm ammo and reload speed are possible rolls. This is only to further reduce the ideal drops. They should remove them entirely asap.

You're right it's trash. In the military world, then are many reasons for having a small pistol backup but Destiny doesn't utilize it well. They need to beef them up to make them desirable (un-nerf, if you will).

1 ReplyI can't help myself, but every time I pull the trigger on the sidearm, I end up saying "pew pew" into my mic. I've tried to control it, but can't. It's probably one of the (many) reasons that I don't get invited back into fireteams.

Sidearms are one of the simplest, fastest killers in PvP, and therefore will not go anywhere. They're useful and balanced.

Sidearms are my bae. Need to shred a Knight? Sidearm. Need to stop a shotgun rush cold? Sidearm. Need to do DPS to Oryx? Probably not Sidearm, but it would be funny.

Have you ever used a sidearm against a hard charging shotgunner? Doesn't end well for them, that's for sure.

No they amazing I use them a lot now. Great in open maps as a rush weapon or primary support
