1 ReplyEdited by CobraMate: 11/27/2015 9:04:07 AM100% of religious ppl question the existence of the god(s) they believe in, at some point, even though they devote their life to it. "You dont doubt what u know is real". Never will i question or doubt that i have a penis or that my mother loves me. And dont forget religious ppl turn to atheists as well. Dont know a percentage because i dont care. If you care so much please become the pope or a nun or a brother or a priest or whatever religious figure you praise cause if you dont then compared to them your most likely more doomed to hell or wherever you think you may be going. Btw let the religion choose you. Dont choose the religion. You most likely chose the religion you follow because you agree with what is says. The keyword there is YOU and CHOSE, keep that in mind. Also keep in mind that the other people who believe in other religions most likely chose just like you did, or was just raised in it. Now you tell me whose religion is right or wrong lol Psychology of religion is a great read. You can research it if you want. Btw i went to penn state if thats what ur PSU stands for. Goo nittany!

12 RepliesAnd your trying to prove what? That people change their minds. That people grow out of ideas like clothes. So what, how does one person that doesn't believe in a deity affect you? If you believe in god, cool for you. If someone doesn't (like me), cool for them. People change their minds, they realize that maybe they want to believe in some higher power. I don't understand (and maybe you can explain to me) why it's such a big deal that someone is Atheist or Agnostic. I don't make a big deal if someone believes in a god. I don't try to make them feel bad or belittle them because they do. There are bigots on both sides of the coin, don't make yourself one. Goodnight/morning to you Sir/Madam. Enjoy your non-understanding life.

2 RepliesIv gotten to a point where I don't care what happens. If I go to heaven cool, if I go to hell I probably deserve it, if I get reincarnated cool, or if nothing happens when I die then nothing happens. I'm gonna live my life how I want to and not worry about what happens when I die.

1 ReplyI was about to say it's not true. But then I looked at my life. Bear with me. Growing up as a child religion was forced on me. Specifically Christianity and Baptist views thanks to my old father and my grandparents. I was forced to go to church, and read various books with scripture and the like. I hit my teens and moved overseas and got away from it. I took various world religions classes to learn what enticed people about it. But I found myself calling myself an athiest. I didn't pray. I didn't really delve into anything during the holidays. The like. At the age of 20 I went into the air force. Each Sunday we were able to go to a church service during basic training. I literally went to each service. But one actually resonated with me. The wiccan service. It was dedicated to mostly pagans of all natures. Each seminar dedicated to a different path. Eclecticism, druidism, wiccan and such. It actually enthralled me. Of course this got backlash from my instructors for going. Considering I had to sign out where I was and they looked at it. "Practicing black magic" was not a trainee thing to do and I was basically going against American code. Eh. Now later on during my Air Force career I got hurt. I was in constant pain, lost all feeling in my right arm and my back was hell incarnate to me. I was in a dark place thanks to it. And it got worse. Doctors couldn't figure what was wrong. So I was medically discharged a bit later. Depression hit terribly. And I flocked to things I could think of that cheered me up as much as I could. Gaming was one. But the major outlet? Witchcraft. Now I'm not talking bout the shit in movies. I'm talking the actual stuff. Praying with various sorts of 'spells' worshipping nature and her conscience. Looking to guidance from the stars and all sorts of natural beliefs. I believed it calmed me. And It helped. TLDR
yes I was a rebel and athiest. But hard times helped me find a religious path albeit one most people won't agree with.
Here's an easier way to say it OP... "There's no atheist in a foxhole" when the shit hits the fan in life and it is running out atheists will start to crawl back on bended knee to God.
