As far as exotics go, I use 1k stare/sleeper on warpriest, black spindle on golgoroth, touch of malice on sisters, and back to my 1k stare/sleeper for oryx.

I have good legendary primary's so I'm ok with keeping the spindle on my back till oryx then I switch to the stimulant, besides I've gotten my spindle up to 315 so it's fairly good spindle is better for killing ultras an with the perks you can throw more bullets down range then the raid sniper

I use my 1000 yard with a ton of reload perks. On warpriest I can shoot all 23 rounds and get through almost all of my raid machine gun each dps phase.

Edit: Don't think you people are understanding the fact that black spindle has a limited supply of ammo. Only good for golgoroth if you're using the scrub one orb tactic.

For golgoroth the Black Spindle is better obviously but for warpriest the 1000 yard stare is without a doubt better and I'll explain why I'm not saying a base 1000 yard stare is better than the spindle but if you have triple tap(even more so with casket mag), spray and play, or the aura reload gloves it boosts its dps above the spindle The key to making it the dps king in my book is triple tap and the reload gloves, the vanguard 1000 yard stare is perfect for this if you get the glove drop in the raid. Every 3 shots you get 1 extra bullet (not from reserves) added to your clip so the vanguard will give you a 5 shot clip before you have a speedy reload from the reload gloves. With the added rate of fire you will fire many more rounds than the black spindle and on top of that triple tap will give you (assuming you have 23 round total from extra ammo for sniper armor) an extra 7 shots to add on top of that to make it 30 rounds total! And at the end you usually have some time to pull out your heavy for a few shots if you get to position and start shooting fast enough. If you wanted you could use the sleeper simulant to really boost dps but I usually just use the raid mg because it's better for more situations All that being said the spindle is more that good enough dps wise and anyone saying otherwise is ignorant. Many guns work for every situation use what feels right and it will work out
