I don' t know about your but having to use forums, groups etc.. to get help or make fireteams is getting really old. Why can't destiny give us open world chat like other mmo's. We should have an open world chat for each zone we are in, if your in the divide you can talk to others in the divide if your in the rubicon waste you can talk to other in the rubicon waste etc.. It would be so much easier to interact with people and form groups.

    • I don't know if this is true, but this game is rating teen, so that might restrict it in some ways. Because it is rated teen, they may not be able to allow people to chat automatically with randoms. I get that you can do it in fireteam and team chat, buy you have to actively set that up. They might not be able to have it automatically there, because of the ratings. Again, I'm not sure, this is just what I think

      • Oh hell no. Last thing I want on patrol is hearing all the squeakers pontificating on whatever shiny object had their attention at the moment. If you want to chat, find a fire team.

      • At the very least, an easily usable messaging option. Especially in social areas. Doesn't make sense to not be able to be social in social spaces.

I know this isn't the same, but why don't they do it like call of duty? the standard way should be to hear everyone on your team. the optional way should be only your fireteam.

          • I think for every 1 person trying to find a group, you have 5 people not paying attention, talking with someone else, playing awful music too loudly, following other people around yelling about how they got weapon x, or all of the above.

          • News flash: You can go to the roster section of your menu, see everyone in the lobby, send them messages and invite them to chat.
