Step 1: The quest "The first firewall is now available for everyone that got the four fusion rifle relics. Once you return to the gunsmith you'll get the quest, as shown here: http://i.imgur.com/aLogKZu.png
Completing the quest will give you the Curios Transceiver, which goes to your quest items and then requires 4 sequential passcodes. The passcodes seem to be identical to the order the knights spawn in the First Firewall mission (Knights and Taken knights representing the values).
Tranceiver passcode input screen: http://imgur.com/NGvBxbB
All codes courtesy of /u/kiki_strumm3er:
Codes (top is 1):
● 1 2 1 1 2 2 2 1 2
● 1 2 1 1 2 2 1 1
● 1 2 2 2 1 2 2 2 1 1
● 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 1
After 4 passcodes you get access to a new mission called Shadow Call which requires you to reach the top of the Devil's Spire (Cayde's Stash mission location) within a time limit to collect your reward, which is the IKELOS Fusion Core.
The Fusion Core requires 5 modules to be repaired.
Heavy Power Coupling - Dismantle any legendary or higher heavy weapon.
Ionized Shell Harmonics - Complete the Archives mission on Venus on any difficulty.
WARSAT//MK19/TERRA/RSPN - Complete a 'Defend the Warsat' public event on Earth.
WARSAT//MK19/LUNA/RSPN - Complete a 'Defend the Warsat' public event on the Moon.
WARSAT//MK19/MARS/CHLM - Complete a 'Defend the Warsat' public event on Mars.
For help finding Warsat events, check out www.destinypublicevents.com. Note that the Warsat at the beginning of the Fallen S.A.B.E.R. strike does not count towards your Earth Warsat completion.
Completing all 5 modules awards you with the Reassembled IKELOS Fusion Core, which must be brought to the Gunsmith. Turning it in results in a dead end, and it seems most likely that the next step is time gated.
Step 2: The Quest Continues, the Gunsmith gives you a Quest saying to Investigate Vault RAS-2 in the Cosmodrone. You need to do the FALLEN S.A.B.E.R stike on light level 280 (level 42) Once completed you will be given a frame, return to the gunsmith and you got yourself the sleeper simulant (attack 290)

Very informative, though I seriously doubt you have to get your Gunsmith level any higher than 5. That'd be silly since it's not easy to level him up. I realize people have reached 5 and nothing happens, so I'm convinced there's something we're all missing. I think the key is the Golden Age relics. There was a line in the Game Informer article saying something to the effect of there being some type of clue already in the Destiny Universe. I think this means what we're looking for is something from a Y1 mission or location. Specifically the Archive. It seems too much a coincidence that before today that was the only Daily from Y1, and it being said it contains info on the Golden Age. I have no doubt Rasputin and his bunker play a part, maybe even the next part, but I think the Archive does too.

2 RepliesIts the redbull quest

I've found 4 Dvalin relics on my Titan and nothing happened when I turned them in. Gunsmith rank is only 2
-
7 RepliesThis has to be lies because I've found 5 of those relics
-
You must be a titan, because you seem to like to build walls "of text"
-
Sounds right to me. You don't get Boolean until rank 3 Queens. With these fusion rifles having a set amount and no other use- and I highly doubt they'd pull a Black Spindle- Gunsmith rank seems the last possibility. Until then.
-
Must be something more to do with the Rasputin bunker as the sides of the rifle look like the doors in Rasputin's bunker.

14 RepliesEarlier today i have been walking around in the prometion code mission. I had the exotic one and after making a stupid mistake, i respawned in the "resputin" room, where we fought Omnigul in the siege of the warmind mission. I couldnt exit the room and searched around it alot because the room had a make over. But couldnt find anything interesting. Apart from 1 of the doors, there is nothing scanneble or interactive in the room. And the only dialoge that comes after you scan the door is that you cant enter it and need to move on with the objective. I went to orbit and back in since i couldt exit the room and decided to search for all the scanneble object in the mission, hoping something would trigger but nothing did. But it did make me start thinking. 1 of the object talks about weapon testings. Fallen weapons to be precise. That made me think, are there any weapons that are Fallen like that we can obtain? And isnt Pocket Infinity also using the symbol of resputin? What if that weapon has something to do with this quest? Do we have to do something if this mission is the daily to trigger an event or area? Maybe in combo with the fusion rifles or after we obtained all 4? What do you guys think?

Very Interesting!

11 RepliesOk, there are hidden patrol missions on all planets as I have gotten one on mars(post 2.0 pre ttk, did not reward anything), and others have gotten them on other planets. I think they can be triggered faster by doing normal patrol missions, and then ghost will announce you are getting a scrambled signal then you complete it like a normal patrol mission but the objective will look like ??????? and it has more than one step. I think doing these on each planet has something to do with the Sleeper Simulant, I'll have to test it though.

It's is absolutely crucial you must see a wild Ho-Oh on step one of the quest, or you won't be able to start your journey into middle earth to obtain the master sword.

Just a thought: Today's Daily Story is Buried City on Mars. I forgot (until just now after clearing it), that the mission also involves warminds and at the end there's some dialogue from Northbot about how Rasputin is controlling it and how he is "everywhere now". I don't have the time to search the mission right now, but maybe there's some clues in this old mission now? Far fetched, I know, but might be worth it to someone to investigate
-
Not sure if this means anything but I was playing the psyon flayers strike (after getting all 4 fusion rifles) and I heard some music while trying to open the door (Rasputin music) then it stopped after about 10 seconds

I don't know if anyone's found this before, but it could be something to think about when searching missions I guess; as you come from the arc stream room through the first terminal room towards the Saber Boss room in Bunker WAR 4, in the hallway between the first terminal room and the room with the 3 terminals there's a side hallway with two non-opening doors that resemble the one normally blocking the hallway to the SABER boss room. There's a vent on the wall by these two doors and while you can't break it, I've confirmed it leads to a small room whose only real features are another non-opening door taking up one wall and what looks almost like a power box on the other by where the vent comes out (maybe somehow involved with the First Firewall mission objective? I have no clue). I don't know how to get in however, I found this by breaching to look at what I could of the bunker before breaching inside that segment in Patrol. If this somehow hasn't been found and dismissed before or anyone's interested I'll put up some pictures later, but I sadly can't get on my console at the moment so it'd have to wait.

So much search for the simulant

The room that you go down is part of a questline already. Ive been down there but i dont remember how or what quest so thats written off. Luke smith in the pd podcast said theyll tell us how to get it if we dont figure it out
