How does everyone suck so bad at PvP?
So I have a KD barely over 1. Yet, if I don't absolutely carry my team I never win a single game in the crucible. It's a joke. If I finish the match with a KD under 2.0...I lost. Every time.
It's been decided; Bungies fault.

1 ReplyBecause many people including myself don't really like PVP (excluding Mayhem). But we really like Destiny and want the rewards that force you to play Crucible. The exotic sword quest says go to Crucible, I go to Crucible, Iron Banner had Etheric light, I played Iron Banner.......

8 RepliesDude I suck at PvP. An afk player would do better then me. I don't want to step foot in it because I know I'll just mess up the team I'm on. The thing is..... Bungie keeps forcing me into it if I want to finish quests and get exotics that I want. So.....I'm sorry if I'm ever on your team. ....and to the opposing team. You're welcome.

I'll tell you why I suck. I havent played destiny enough to be good at it(imo), Look at my play time, compared to other day 1 players. Im not really good at fps games in general, because i dont like most fps games. You know the other team suck if i have above a 1.0 k/d, it has happened and i felt like a GOD!

I believe 30 multikills with your super....20 each with your melee and grenades. ...after awhile it gets tedious and you tend to play stupid trying to achieve these goals....when doing my quests I honestly gave up trying to win just to get these done...dont blame the players blame Bungie

Lol my problem is when ever I wreck faces In the crucible my team 9/10 sucks so I end up loosing. But If I end up having a terrible game My team wins almost every single time. Frigging destiny logic.

Be happy you're not getting a kd of 3-7 and still loosing the match since 3 of your teamates went under .4 those are the games that want to make me quit crucible for good.

Well this is the first fps designed to keep the average gamer interested. Everyone is able to get kills with supers, heavys, op weapons etc. It's a very clever ploy to make money and keep people playing. I mean fps games like halo of old, quake, unreal tournament etc. Your average player enters gets absolutely destroyed and has no interest in continuing. Leaving only the dedicated and competitive players.

Ttk exotics and legendary marks force people who don't like pvp and wouldn't play it into crucible or be left behind. It's a shitty way for bungie to boost their pvp playtime stats. So you get teams that are completely filed with people who don't want to be there. Enjoy your matchmaking.

7 RepliesTo everyone saying he sucks and talking shit to him. I don't think you understand how much playing Crucible solo can suck. First of all the match making is a joke. I can only assume that if I load up a match, it'll throw me in a game that is half over and one team has 3-4 players while the other is just dominating. This can happen like 4 or 5 times without even leaving the lobby. That makes Crucible not fun at all. Second, now that you get marks for playing Crucible, you have players just sitting in games being dead weights to your team. It is absolutely not enjoyable to play Crucible when either of those two things happen. I've play a ton of Y1 Crucible and I just don't enjoy crucible as much anymore because of these things. When you have a team that just sits there and doesn't play the objective or anything else that are just playing for Marks or getting put into half over games, it makes it not so much fun. I'm pretty decent at crucible and can usually score 2.0 or higher and these two things have made me not enjoy playing it, I'm sure that there are other solo players who feel the same way

Other than that, I play alone in all game modes and I always do very well. My KD in all game modes show for it. Edit: OP is right though, matchmaking is terrible. I usually get paired with the shittiest PVP players in Destiny. I usually make up a quarter or half of the entire teams score lol. It's insane. On the end game results I usually see this. 1 ReplyWhy would you make this post? Its embarrassing. I looked at your game history, and it does not reflect your post at all. You have plenty of victories with 1.5 or less, a lot of the time far less, k/d. You have even more wins while sporting a low k/d than when you get high k/d. In fact you aren't carrying the team, when you get high k/d it's ONLY because you get carried. So what exactly are you complaining about?

New meta, people trying to use TLW for jolly holiday, people trying to kill with the sword hilt for the exotic sword. It'll die down in a month or so and everyone will use their best stuff. Enjoy getting easy kills while you can...

Destiny is the first FPS game I actually put time into. I came into this game with no FPS experience, so I'm not very good at it even after a year. Pve is nothing.

I'm just under 1 - I'm not very good at crucible - I always solo just for marks. It feels like we win about half the time. Maybe you are on an unlucky streak?
