You're close. I checked it and it actually means 'exuding the moon' I could be wrong. Any Latin scholars who can translate for sure?

1 ReplyEyas isn't Latin, it's Middle French and it does indeed mean young hawk, or hawk nestling so they are correct on the translation, just not the language

1 ReplyFrom what I know eyas mean a little hawk baby and Luna is another name for the moon and that's why people call it baby hawkmoon
