You're an asshole! Bungie should ban every and all code generator user forever. Using a code someone else paid for is theft and you know you deserve it!

23 RepliesEdited by Accwarrior: 9/14/2015 2:25:52 AMI agree.. Theft is theft. Your stealing a code that someone paid their money for. Either $1 or 1 million.. Die thieves. Hopefully every thieve and their family gets cancer and dies a slow painful death. **Edit : How do people have sympathy for thieves???? Stealing is illegal, correct???

I feel the same way those people are stealing game content away from people who paid for it
-
4 RepliesSo you say I should be banned because my friend bought himself a red Bull and I used the code on the can? I don't drink red bull so why should I buy a can and waste the drink for the code when my friend will drink it and let me have the code?

12 RepliesThe cans say no purchase necessary...

If YOU didn't pay for them oh well it doesn't matter, if I give you a brand spankin new iPhone 6s gold edition for free, would you be arrested for using it? No. I would for stealing it tho.

1 ReplyI drink a lot of red bull. I've tried around 40 codes only 15 have worked.

3 RepliesI couldnt get the red bull destiny cans in my city bc seven 11 is closed down within an 8hr drive. So I went to eBay to buy a can and saw someone selling codes. So I said wth I'll buy a can for keeps and 25 codes for 10$ Did I just pay some ass hole for stealing codes? If so he's making all profit. If I get banned for this I'm gunna shit. I had no clue people could steal these codes Please dont ban me bungie

6 RepliesThey can't ban people for this rofl Bungie has no proof who bought the cans or used a generator. They said "No purchase Necessary" And guess what, that means you don't have to buy the cans rofl
-
They're thieves. Simple as that. They'll try to justify the means with retarded logic nonetheless. The good thing is that a ban is likely to happen. It's a shame how many parents failed at their jobs.

This is why you don't over advertise & try to squeeze customer base with too much sugar/ caffeine (sigh) shit at least try this approach with something kinda healthy, but all-in-all its scummy marketing at its best.
-
Technically speaking, you pay for the can of red bull and the code is a free bonus. Also, it explicitly says "no purchase necessary" which means anybody who got a bogus code is SOL. I had a few bum codes myself but oh well. You only need one and I got one so that's all I was after.

Funny Shit, I had some redbull code can I was gonna use. Funny enough Twitch Streamer KingGothalion had the same code and was giving it away. Even though I had the Code

20 RepliesEdited by The Loathsome Dung Eater: 9/13/2015 5:51:17 PMNo way to determine 100% if they entered code legit or not. And I feel that neither Bungie or Red Bull really cares enough to spend the time and money to investigate the matter and take questionable action against any individual about something that happens outside of the game. Key points: -Banning someone in game for something outside the game would never hold up. You enter the code at the red bull site and then it directs you to Bungie's site. So you getting banned on Bungie's game for entering a code on a completely different site would never happen. -No way to determine who is the legit 'owner' of the code. Case in point: I buy a can, enter code, then throw can out (or recycle). Someone takes said can, claims they bought it and the code doesn't work. They get item, legit buyer gets banned. That alone would make banning people a terrible idea. What can you do? -Keep buying cans and if they don't work contact red bull for the item. -Buy codes from eBay as many have mentioned -Generate codes on your own and say F the system.

True that, I've wasted like $20
-
Well i didnt pay for mine a american destiny friend gave me it coz u cant get in uk

15 Repliesthey stated "no purchase necessary" argument is null. I've never even bothered with the redbull due to the guessing generator crap.
