Who really wants their legendaries?
Who here actually has sweet old lehendary guns that they want to upgrade. Honestly I think most people just want fatebringer forever. Does anyone actually have a super sweet roll on an old gun that they've kept that is actually good? And not just for crucible? I don't and neither do most people. They just want fatebringer...

Fatebringer, Vision of Confluence, Word of Crota, Abyss Defiant, look pretty much any raid weapon should be ported over. Game design should always balance up.

The only weapon I will really miss is her benevolence.

I have reforged my legendaries to suit me perfectly. So yes, I want to keep using them. -unless I can get an identical weapon in TTK.

Actually I think what I want most are my crota weapons. Fang of Ir Yut, Swordbreaker, and Song of Ir Yut are my standards. My Gheleon's Demise I earned in IB and sometimes pull it out when I'm nostalgic or need a non arc primary.

3 RepliesI want VoC. I see a lot of people also wanting VoC. Also, Word of Crota. Not just Fatebringer. It's hypocritical to want to keep your exotics but be fine with tossing end game legendaries.

I have a lot that I really like, and having the option to keep them wouldn't have made me any less excited for the new content. In fact resetting all the old gear makes the game less exciting because now it feels like everything you do is inconsequential, and for that I could be playing any other shooter. Did it make it less awesome to get a Hawkmoon just because I already had a Thorn? Was it any less epic to get a black hammer just because I already had Praedeth's Revenge? Of course not. And in the same way it would still be just as fun collecting the new guns and still have the choice to decide what to use. I'm going to play the taken King, and I'm sure many of the new weapons will be great, but a lot of the magic and fun will be gone, because in the back of my head I'll be thinking about that cool new gun I just got will be rendered obsolete as soon as the next DLC drops.

I have a full auto scout rifle with firefly and explosive rounds. Pretty nice for PvE. I would like to upgrade that one. :-) Also my Hopscotch if I finally get a good roll on it.

2 RepliesI'm excited for the change!!! I'll keep all my vog, crota, trials adept, IB weapons, but I'm stoked about all the new weapons and armor in TTK! I'm glad gally, Icebreaker, thorn and many others aren't coming to year two! Most people that rely on those will be left behind and quit but that's ok black ops 3 is coming out soon they can go there and cry on their forms :)
