Anyone else sick of 34s not knowing how to do vault of glass
It all started when TDB was released and vendor gear was better than vault gear. I feel with every expansion that comes out players get worse and worse at raids in particular vault of glass. Who thinks that most players won't even be able to beat the Oryx raid?
Edit 1 - I realize this post maybe confusing to some and that I do not want to help new players. What I should have said was that I am sick of people being 34 with decent grimoire lying about skill level. I'm not the best but generally I let someone know if I can't do something in a raid for example I can't run sword at crota.
Edit 2 - I am 282 light level currently for taken king is 300 the cap?
Edit 3 - So now that kings fall is out are some people having a hard time with underleveled players at Oryx, as in dps on Oryx?

10 RepliesMy clan was just talking about this. Its crazy to go in to a CE raid and listen to random groups argue about who is gonna the abyss. Or they have no clue how to build the bridge with teamwork. No idea how to clear oracle cp unless they wipe so they can be up top to snipe. No one took the time to learn to raid properly.

1 ReplyNever run VOG or Crota due to having no friends when I moved to Xb1 and lack of invite from forums. Got to level 34 from iron banner's etheric light.

When I came out of the portal with the relic I ran past six supplicants and almost died, it was pathetic. I told them all how shit they were but they didn't care, they never played vanilla. Also, they all wanted to go to orbit and let me do the maze and jumping puzzle on hard, I told them there needed to be three in the fireteam and then ordered them all to join and learn. We did it first try and they were like "oooooh, thanks for teaching us :3". I think the noobs just need to learn and no one has given them the opportunity.

My mate is 34 and hasn't even done vault :/ I remember how good it was doing that raid when I was like lvl 26 trying to get good gear and weapons

I read some of the comments below. It's simple why all the cheesing came about. Take yourself back to TDB times, say around Jan thru March or April. The tower was buzzing with raid groups. Clans were pulling people in to take them through etc.... It was a lot of fun, but in order to shuttle the masses through to get the raid gear and weapons, nobody was really taught properly. It became about the loot.

3 RepliesAfter looking at the PS 4 medal table and noticing only 1.8% of players have finished a Raid I am not surprised. Just have to remember we were all like that a long time ago. Shame as the Raids are great fun.

Ye was with 3 people in VOG hard that didn't have a clue, died in every part, we basically 3 maned it, up until atheon, but couldn't do atheon in the end we left found a 4th who knew wat he was doing and 4 manned it

I miss the days when you saw another level 30, like oneself, you knew they had completed VoG hard mode. But, then you would take some of them along and discover they had not completed it legit but with full cheese...that's why I like playing with regular friends...you dont have to vet the legits from the cheesetards.

1 ReplySoon. There is going to be a lot of lvl40 guardians who dont know how to do vault of glass. But how would they? There is no reason to enter the vault anymore.

What bungie did was make etheric light to easy to get, if you ask me etheric light should only be a reward for beating a raid, but since it will be irrelevant come TTK, but we do get infusing... But if bungie made an upgrade material like etheric light then it should only be a raid award that way people are required to know how to raid.

Imagine if they'd make running the relic a random thing. Say running the sword, random team member gets marked to be the one that has to run the sword after killing sword bearer. Or random team member gets marked to hold the relic during gatekeeper and atheon, etc. Imagine then, how many people would be able to complete a raid. I agree, there are some people I play on a regular basis that would fail at just cleansing with the shield lol.

I tried to take a friend through last night. He's only been playing for 2 weeks with 1 normal completion. He was out playing the 3 lvl 34s I picked up off the forum. It was really sad. 1 1/2 hours to get past confluxes..... Very disheartening

2 RepliesLOL yes Ive been sick of NOOB telling they know what to do in VOG only to find out they dont have a CLUE ! One simple solution = BOOT the MOFO's ! I dont mind HONEST NOOBS, I explain to them what to do and carry them through... but LIARs = INSTANT BOOOOOT !
