A Guide to Stat, Grimoire, Chest, and Ghost resources

Greetings Guardians, For a while now, I have seen a lot of "how do I find (x), how do I check (y)." Hopefully this will ease some of those questions. Stats and Grimoire The easiest way to check this is thru your profile on Bungie.net, however, you will not see what you are specifically missing in terms of grimoire and, while Bungie.net does keep track of a good number of stats, there is a lot more you can learn from to help improve your game. For this, I recommend: http://destinytracker.com/ To use this site, simply type in your Gamertag or PSN name, select your console, and hit search. This will bring you to your profile's overview, which can be broken down further by the tabs next to your name. The best feature, however, is the Grimoire Checklist. To access it, click Checklist, then Grimoire Checklist. This will bring up a comprehensive page on what grimoire cards you have, what you are missing (specific card names), and whether or not it has bonus grimoire for completions. Golden Chests You can tell in-game where you are missing a chest by bringing up the Directory, then selecting a planet. Next to the map, It will tell you ____/5 Golden Chests. To help find these, I suggest: http://destinychesthunter.net/ On this site, you can check where you are missing chests, like you can in game, by clicking Get Data under check progression, then enter your Gamertag or PSN name and selecting you. This will bring up how many chests you have from each location. To find chests, click on a planet at the top of the page, this will bring you to a checklist with each location and pictures of them. Ghosts To find the many ghosts in the game I suggest using: http://destinyghosthunter.net/ To use this site, simply type in your Gamertag or PSN name, select your console, and hit submit. You will be brought to a checklist with each ghost location and pictures of them. Use the navagation tabs on the left to filter thru by location and expansion. Also, TrivialTurtle posted a video a few days ago featuring the location of all of the ghosts in year one, a link to his post: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/143973972/0/0 Would also like to mention that an easy way farm Ogres is to start up the mission: Shrine of Oryx on normal difficulty. Towards the end, it will spawn a red health bar Ogre, you kill it, jump off the cliff, then respawn. A checkpoint will place you at the beginning of the room. Note: this will only work on normal mode, as the hard modes will always spawn a yellow health bar Ogre, which doesn't count towards your score. A good place to farm Hydras is at the portal of the Black Garden. Start up The Black Garden story mission or Patrol, go to the portal, kill the enemies (includes one red health Hydra), portal opens, wait for it to close, enemies will respawn afterwards.
