Alright, as we all know Destiny has had its ups and downs in the past year and I only hope to more of the ups in the future as I really do enjoy the game. But what seems to be a running trend in the constant updates and patches and many things having to do with PvP. And while I do enjoy my fair share of PvP such as, trials of Osiris, skirmish, and control, what I really enjoy doing in Destiny is the PvE. In my opinion PvE is what makes Destiny such a fun game to play! If I really wanted to go shout at my screen of choice for a few hours I would go play darn near any other FPS (First Person Shooter). And while I'm sure that the people at Bungie are very busy trying to create content for the ever expanding community of the game, I think they really need to start focusing on the opposite end of the spectrum, we PvE players.
So, what can be done to satisfy the need for a good bit of PvE in a game such as destiny? Nightfalls? Weekly Strikes? Daily missions? Bounties? My answer would be no. to put it as another player put it, Gothalion "Most players can knock almost all of that out in about an hour or 2 per character". And I couldn't agree more. Now while im sure all of us get our fair share of Destiny in per week but there are other games out there such as Mortal Kombat X. I have really enjoyed playing that game in all honesty, and a gamemode I really enjoy is the "Test Your Might" mode. For those of you who don't own this game or have yet to play it, "test your might" is basically a whacky type gamemode where it rolls a bunch of different modifiers to be added to the match which makes for a really fun experience. So what I propose is a "test your might" type strike list where you would be given a random strike (or a strike of your choosing depending on how you would/could make it) and with that strike could be rolled about 3-5 modifiers for the strike. Now I understand it wouldn't be all that fun with only the current modifiers, but there could always be modifiers added like, only primaries, or reduced super cooldown speed, or even "heavy haven" where tons of heavy ammo would be dropped or your heavy ammo would regen. Anyway I'm sure this idea has already been brought to the attention of many people or already been had or even already in the works but to me this was new, and I thought it would be cool to share. Thank you for reading this and taking the time to consider

It's like Lord Shaxx says, "Test your might." Then he shouts, "MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!"

2 RepliesNot a challenge of talent as it would be a challenge of patience. Since i would clearly be available to play a video game i'm sure i have plenty of patience. Unless for some random reason i'm playing on PSN at work. Only downside is even in my free time i don't like to waste time.
