Why do people use Thorn/TLW in normal crucible?
Seriously why? Why do you have to be so lame. I already have to put up with you in trials and iron banner. I really see no point in using these weapons in regular crucible.
Crucible is way less fun when 4/6 other players have thorn and the other 2 have TLW. Normal crucible is the time to have fun with legendary weapons, maybe even upgrading weapons in there.
You can still try-hard while using a different weapon guys. You would think using the same weapon every day would get boring.
Edit: There are some responses that I can live with. If it's fun then use it. But I would just think using the same weapon over and over would get boring.

1 ReplyI don't use my thorn I use my voc. But that's the way bungie wants us to play the game. Two shots from a handgun instant death. But from an auto rifle a full clip sometimes a clip and a half. It takes a while to get em with my scout rifle to. But hey do that make em scrubs no. if u have the thorn to begin with in my opinion u are good. I'm sure they can use any gun they want. But the handcannons get the job done if u don't want murk. Blame bungie. And then blame the community for bitching about a game play style that has excotic weapons and perks they can't handle and make the game developers change

I don't use thron in regular crucible but I have been using tlw this week to level it for trials and get some practice with it. It is a -blam!-ing monster

10 RepliesWhy would you [i]not[/i].. If one of those guns helps gets you the most kills, why would you decide to use another gun that is worse? You get more marks for wins, more kills likely gets your bounties done faster, your kd goes up or at least doesn't go down. Pretty simple decision to use the best guns at your disposal.

Yeah kind of disappointing that even in regular crucible people have to use the easymode guns. I blame bungie though, they know that the exotic handcannons are broken, ruined ARs, and pretty much just broke the balance in pvp. I stopped caring about pvp really, I just throw on NLB and go have fun lol.

Try mida multi-tool. Pair with HR shotgun and blink all over the place. Been using shotgun since the beginning (pre TDB) I don't even care what class i am. Shotgun= gapclosing faceraper. Even in trials vs sniper i just flank around with a shotgun. Gets the job done nice and fast

Went in today tried hard light and -blam!- me it sucks sooooooooo bad you needs like a clip of head shots to get a kill. Put TLW back on n had fun :)

5 RepliesI refuse to even use it the few times I played in ToO. I use my VoC and enjoy it very much. I may use a Shotgun (still learning to snipe), but I also refuse to pair it with Blink. I want the match to be a fair fight. I know, it sounds crazy knowing that my opponents will do whatever it takes to defeat me, but it is just how I am.

I don't know what people see in thorn. I have never been able to hold my own with it. My red death easily outguns thorn anyway. It's the last word I have problems dealing with. The last word is actually broken because it sometimes gets the non-ADS damage boost during ADS. thorn is no problem at all, and I can still manage against last word, barely.
