Deej, or Cozmo, why is TITAN the weakest pvp class?
I hope i can get a serious awnser here! Look at my k/d in trials for example, between titan and warlock. I am just getting to know warlock, and im a day one titan so...

- i do not think it is a matter of opinion if there are numbers to prove it.
- it seems there are plenty more people agreeing
- yeah maybe it was dumb to ask an awnser from deej

- if your own k/d on the titan is the lowest of your characters, just dont say the titan is better

3 RepliesI'm just putting this out there... Say there's heavy ammo inbound. I'm a bladedancer and you're a striker Titan. The entire other team is standing by their heavy using shotguns and last words and we both have supers. Who is it easier and safer to send to their heavy? The answer is you because you can go in bang on your chest and monkey slam before their brains can even send signals to their hands saying, "oh shit move!!!!" If I go in there with a my arc blade against 6 people holding shotguns or last words I'm dead in half a second unless none of them can aim. Titans aren't weak they're situation like every other class in this game. They are the fastest class if you know how to control them and they're the only class with a 1 hit melee that has no cooldown. They also have the only super in the game that can't be countered with another super.

One of our best exotics is a warlocks normal perk on their skill tree, and we don't even have the best armour yet people say we aren't underpowered

I'm not sure any class is weakest per se...they're just set up differently. Each of them have strengths and weaknesses, I'm hesitant to say one is better than the other. At the end of the day I think it comes down to personal play style.

1 ReplyYea um yesterday I played my second crucible game of the day. My Titan was a striker, barely upgraded with just have gotten the Lightning grenade my first game of the day. I was using a hawkmoon, matador, and dreamwaker. I ended up getting a game with 33 kills, which is a new record for me. The Titans are a very strong pvp class because of their lightning grenades, ability to one hit shoulder charge someone, and their very high armor.

4 RepliesI don't think the Titan is weak, if anything I feel the hunter is the weakest class. I think playing with the Titan actually takes more skill because he is in your face and set up for in the trance style to play. Understanding a hunter and warlocks strengths helps. Hunters are the hardest to get after if the player knows how to use him. Fast, agile, stealthy. Warlocks are the middle of the two, we'll balanced. Just takes practice and you can't use the same strategy for every class and player. Just have to learn to adjust quickly.

9 RepliesHow are they weak? You can get double grenades with the chest. You can take people out of their supers with your suppression grenades. Don't even get me started on Fist of Panic or Shoulder Charge. You just have to play each class a bit differently they all have their strengths and weaknesses.

Honestly, it is what it is. You, asking the CM's is a stupid idea. They will not answer. They are probably not even ALLOWED to answer things like this. So don't even try. And by the way, your "numbers to prove it" are just proof of your bad k/d. Showing that you're bad with the Titan in Trials does not prove anything other than the fact that you are bad with the Titan in Trials. Learn how to form an argument before you go and act like a tough guy and speak for others (including those of us that think the Titan is perfectly fine for pvp). Hell, even at level 23 I went into the Crucible with my Titan and came out with a 1.5+ K/D almost every game yesterday. I'd LOVE for you to try and respond to this because there's a lot of things you just did wrong with your post and I'd LOVE to go over them all, but I'm not going to if you're not going to read them out of stubbornness.

8 RepliesThis thread is still going on? Lol ridiculous. The fact that you got a bunch of titans to agree with you and like your thread does not justify your point. Your sample pool is biased. It says more about the types of gamers that are attracted to the titan class rather than the titan class itself. Get a bunch of hunters and warlocks to agree with you, and your argument may gain some credence.

I don't know too well if your theory would hold well with all players. I am not disputing what you are saying I haven't tried my titan in PvP but I will say that so far the titan is my most fun class. I am a day one beta player until a few weeks ago I only ran a hunter now I have a maxed warlock and a 33 1/2 titan and I am far more brutal with my titan than any other class. I don't like PvP but hopefully the new sub's will be enough to get me in PvP again and take my titan into hell lol (hell = PvP)

Titan was my first and still is my main class. They aren't the weakest. I manage to merc people even with my defender class. Stiker is rediculous with shoulder charge and havoc.
