1 ReplyI never could catch on to the whole mouse and keyboard gaming style so now it's just too much effort to switch over even though I can use a controller. I do openly admit that PC gaming is better in general. But I like having the ability to turn on my Xbox and have everything run through it.

1 ReplyMan I wish I had the money (or time I guess, I probably have the money) to make me a good gaming PC. How much would a good one be?

6 RepliesWhy did the console peasant cross the road?
To render the buildings on the other side.
Any who, I'm planning on getting an i5 4690 CPU and a R9 390 GPU, with a Z97X Motherboard? Is this a good idea? The GPU will be from MSI because it was the only option that offered two DVI's and an HDMI since I'll have triple monitor setup but can't afford another monitor that has a Display Port. Thoughts?

4 RepliesWhen PC players talk crap about consoles it makes me want to buy/build a gaming PC even less. If you like PC good for you, doesn't mean everybody has to want them or enjoy them. And if your great community is like you and talks down to people with a "lesser" system, then I don't want to know how you talk to people who may have a weaker or less advance PC.

3 RepliesIsn't it sad when PC master virgins have no better place to be than on console forums.

4 RepliesI don't know why there has been a sudden push for "FPS" in gaming. Almost all arguments for higher framerates are either completely unfounded or downright false advertising as they actually contain very damaging effects on people. First off, the notion that you can see more than 30-40 FPS is a downright lie, the human eye can see AT MOST 45 FPS and even then, it can cause severe visual damage. My brother recently bought a new 120hz monitor and while you yourself can not perceive anything past 30fps, your eye is actually trying to process all the information in that one second. Playing on 45fps is bad enough, but playing on a 120hz monitor? That's more than 4x 30fps, no one was surprised when we took him to the eye doctor and found out he had severe retina damage and will lose his eyesight within a year. TL;DR: 60fps is a meme shouted by either the foolish, or PC shills trying to make you spend thousands of dollars on a machine that doesn't do anything more for video games than a console does. Pic related, it's 400 dollars, and that's JUST a GPU.
