If you can aim then TLW is a better weapon....unless you are at a distance. If you constantly make fun of Thorn users but you're sitting there using hawkmoon/TLW, then be quiet. I used to use Thorn constantly but I switched because I didn't want to be the dbag using Thorn. Now I use TLW, Hawkmoon, Red Hand IX(older version check my Titan...godly roll) and Spare Change. I found that these weapons can match Thorn in every way.
P.S. I'm not hating on Thorn, I think it's powerful but not too powerful.

I use three little words, lord high fixer, and tlw , the tlw will kill the thorn first and them the burn just kills you even though you killed them first, it is freaking retarded it's worse than being stuck by a grenade because the grenade takes slightly more skill to throw than shooting someone with thorn

I use TLW and beat Thorn users up close and at midrange 9 times out of 10. It's the long range that takes me out.

Thorn is beatable, but way too over used. To combat this, the clip size should be renerfed and the stability should be -blam!-ed with to make the famed two shot much harder to get while still having the two shot. And while I'm here, I think TLW is OP. Granted it's difficult to use, but a handcannon shouldn't fire [b]and[/b] like faster than a heavy machine gun. I think a way to balance this out would be to make it so that you can't auto fire while ADS you have to fire at a slow rate, perhaps a bit slower than thorn

I can definitely agree with that TLW is ridiculous at close/mid range when aimed properly I still love it

I actually think it's a pretty good idea. It would make things more balanced and we all strive for that...hopefully Bungie does something very similar to your idea
