I am going to make a Thorn drinking game for trials, each time you start a game check the other teams weapons, if you see Thorn DRINK and each time your screen goes green DRINK and when you die by thorn DRINK. And if you see dragons breath..... Throw up!!!! This beats my L4D2 drinking game any day.

It sucks because I really like PvP, but when everyone is using Thorn, it makes the match much less enjoyable. You can't deny that. I'm not asking for the gun to be nerfed into the ground, but when 50% of people use it because it's the best weapon, something needs to change. Why use a sniper when you can use Thorn. Why use a Pulse Rifle, when you can use Thorn. These questions are just to express my opinion how Thorn is to easy to use. Two shots, and you get to walk away from the gun fight because of the DoT will kill your opponent? That doesn't seem right. And especially when you have three Thorn users in ToO, it's heavily one sided. Your response to that is "why don't you use thorn then?" My point is, Thorn isn't bad when one person is using it, I can outgun them any day of the week. But when 3/3 players on the other team are using it, it gets extremely overpowered. You cannot deny this. Solutions: Make the Thorn have less impact, to counteract the increased stability and rate of fire. Make it so the DoT CANNOT kill you. You will be brought dangerously low, but you must be shot again to die. Mark of the Devourer cannot stack, when two people shoot you with Thorn, only one DoT will be applied. Please Note: These are just my suggestions, how stupid they might seem you can give me feedback on what else can Bungie change to the weapon, to make it balanced. LOL, Whoever made up this crap should have at least made the numbers add up to something that makes sense. Add up the percentages guys and tell me this isn't just a bunch of BS.

I made a recent post with a possible ToO weapon solution. Instead of nerfing the hand cannons (even though they need it), why couldn't Bungie enable leveling advantages for armor only?? You would still get the advantage and perks of your armor but no level advantage for your weapons (just like regular Crucible). In regular Crucible matches you see people using a much wider variety of weapons, including legendary pulse, scout and auto rifles. Just a thought.
