Fusion rifles should get a PVE damage buff

Like shotguns. Go on bungie. Release the weapon stats. Fusion rifles are useless.

    Not useless They just need more. They shouldn't get a dmg reduction against shields imo. They should do more dmg too.

  • I think it is stupid that Bungie hasn't just buffed all the weaker weapons in pve. The autos and fusions are way to weak to viable. Bungie needs to make it so the pve and pvp worlds are completely different, so weapons should be adjusted in that way

    • Yea, I was using a fusion rifle is Poe and I just felt it was basically underpowered just because it takes to long to shoot and it plan doesn't do as much as shotguns do now. Besides the range, fusion rifles have nothing compared to shotguns :/

          • I've been saying this for a while now. They do much lower DPS than the other 2 original special weapon types. I even enjoy using the sidearm which is a lot of fun but the fusion rifle if it's on then it's either just for fun in pvp or an accident.

            Fusions can't even critical hit like shotguns... Bungie has terrible minds behind balancing adjustments in the game. This shit is ridiculous. Then they add sidearms when they still haven't even gotten the rest of the secondaries balanced. Fix the damn content we have now before adding new. Fyi this should have been all balanced a long time ago.

            • This^ This^ This^ Fusion rifles are my favorite weapon but they just don't really have a place in pve or pvp. Why chose a fusion when shotguns are so much better?

              • I think they should get some PvE buff. I think Pocket Infinity should be the hardest hitting CQC gun in pve. All others should get a slight buff but not a 100% buff like SGs since you don't have to get close and be in the danger zone as much.

              • I use them in 35 PoE to tickle captains, mainly a light in the abyss fro crota maxed out. But if i feel like killing them, switch to my 298 found verdict, it was never fully upgraded cuz i dont like shotties, and still shreds them in the speed of loght compared to fusions.

                • That is true..I used plan C agains the captains...took long time to kill them...it was weeks ago..!!! now it must be even worse.. Fusion and Auto rifles are super garbage now...in PvE...all because stupid PvP.

                  • Yep, it's either snipers or shotguns nowadays. I do prefer them to fusion rifles in any case, but they need that little something to be a more valuable option. Nerfing other guns would be crappy, and I never condone nerfs. Just figure out how fusion rifles could be upped a bit. That latest patch didn't help things, even if it was supposed to affect the fusions in 1.1.1 already.
