3 RepliesI only started Arkham Knight before I went on vacation. Looked up DLC information and it spoiled who the Knight is for me right on the Google page. Needless to say I was absolutely pissed, but I'm intrigued to see how they tie that character into the game.

I'm here with my two cents... Topic 1: I really do think the taken King will determine if destiny lives. People are craving for new content, and ttk has to deliver, especially after the Luke smith and red bull controversy. I think it will deliver, considering how much there is gonna be. It's basically half of destiny being added, something that's truly needed Topic 2: I really love arkham knight now that I have the urge to max all my destiny characters filled (last character not max was my hunter, just maxed him today). It plays just like the old batman games, amazing free flow, really loving the bat-tank I mean bat mobile. My highest combo is somewhere around 105. I saw a big group of people on the map and went for it lol. I preordered it too, so once I finish the main story I'm gonna go straight to the red hood and Harley Quinn dlc

The Taken King looks fun! The new subclasses are cool, the new game modes look sweet, and the new area seems like it'll be fun to explore. As far as an expansion goes, it seems fine to me. Not $40 fine, but it looks cool. It's honestly better than the (what I like to call) Call of Duty protocol. In recent years it's been different, but generally the two studios pushing COD out just reuse the same engine, basically the same story, the same multiplayer, but they toss in a couple new guns and an extra pixel that players can deviate from. All for full price, by the way. I think I'd rather pay $40 instead of $60 for basically the same Destiny experience all over again.

With the release date of TTK being so close to other widely known games, I'd have to say it would. But the one thing it has is a teen rating. So it's going to be much easier to get to a wider audience. Any 13+ can pick it up. The others, not so much. People will always continue to play, but numbers will drop.

TTK will either launch Destiny to new heights, or will end up losing the entire fan base. So yes, it will. As for Arkham night, I just saw the trailer, and it looked amazing
