Stop asking for "Optional" matchmaking
It won't work for raids or PoE. Just give up, it's not happening. If you can't understand that it won't work then you're helpless.

I can see bungie putting it in for nightfall, poe 32 and 34...the other venues may be a bit much...although, it would be optional lol...

40 RepliesOnce all these people asking for MM finally get it they are going to be right back to the forums bitching about MM being broken. It's going to be nothing but "I died and they opened the chest, and I got screwed!!! Fix it Bungie!" Or, "I got paired with a couple of noobs, we couldn't finish Skolas for 3 hours and people starting quitting!!!! We need check points!!! Fix it Bungie!!" When I read the first posts like this after these people get what they want I'm gonna piss my pants laughing.

PC players have known this for years. Why would this change out of the blue?! I don't get the incessant complaining for match making. It's unnecessary for the activities when there are all these other tools for people to utilize that WORK FAR BETTER. It's not changing dude.

It would be OPTIONAL meaning, if you dont want it you wouldnt have to use it. How would this effect you in any way? Are you afraid your friends list will choose to matchmake instead of playing with you? Lol

Optional matchmaking is fine for weeklies despite all the consternation when they first announced it. Why you think it's any of your business if I have to deal with no Mics and AFKers is beyond me. Just go and put on you try hard pants with your no life clan mates, and let those of us with better things to do then spend time find other randoms on LFG, play this game how we want. This post is typical of the delusions that you fan boy/girl ass hats are so good at. No one tells me what to do in real life and I'm sure as shit not taking advice from some pink know it all. 11 RepliesPeople say matchmaking and LFG are the same since they're both random people. How wrong they are. LFG you have a [i]much[/i] higher chance of having good communication. I've never had a matchmade game where the other people were talking.

I don't know about lfg but I do use the group finder in the app. Meet a few really solid peeps this way
