Best weapon to use on Atheon
Need To know what primary, special, and heavy weapons you guys use on Atheon cp. Vog hard and normal

6 RepliesDon't even need a heavy, it's a waste of time. Get a fatebringer or a vision for oracle damage. And then black hammer when you're actually shooting atheon. 15k crit without weapons of light, that's all you need

I usually use a sniper on Atheon and my Atheon's epilogue on oracles and corrective measures on supplicants. Anyone who uses a Rocket Launcher on atheon CP obviously does not know much about VoG. Well, unless its all gallys and the relic person constantly supering atheon, then it's ok but one person using a rocket launcher is stupid.

VoC for supplicants/oracles, Blackhammer for Atheon, Thunderlord all around. Kill him on first relic.

Vision of confluence, black hammer and super good advice. Solo oracles with super good advice easily, black hammer hits atheon for 20k with weapons of light (and no reload) vision of confluence takes care of supplicants on both sides and has Oracle disruptor in case you need it!

I find that heavy machine guns are rather good, especially the slower fire rate-more damage ones. Icebreaker is also good if you can it his crit spot

Best setup you could do for yourself is VoC for oracles, any good sniper for atheon, and a solid MG to get those extra hits off.

Vision of Confluence Icebreaker/Black Hammer Corrective Measure No rockets or grenades because that makes Aetheon move around making it harder for EVERYONE on the team to critical hit him. A full team of IB/BH and Corrective Measure can take him down in one run. Maxed out of course

2 RepliesGet a fireteam full of gjallarhorns and wail on him and you can kill him rather quickly. Just make sure you pop a heavy 5 mins before hand. :) (that way, you know incase it doesn't work as quick as it should you can just do the same thing again)
