THORN STATISTICS
Thorn is so powerful it is broken. To support this claim I will provide you with this link which is to a thorough spreadsheet of weapon stats. The TTK (Time To Kill) of thorn [b]100%[/b] of the time if two critical shots are landed is [b]0.36[/b] sec. When this [b]100%[/b] chance is compared to Hawkmoon which has a [b]39%[/b] chance of a two shot kill it is clear how broken the weapon is. [b]100 - 39 = 61[/b]. Thorn is [b]61%[/b] more likely to two shot kill you at a rate [b]0.04[/b] sec faster than Hawkmoon.

I had to resort to using thorn in iron banner because red death, vex, and my shot guns could not compete against it and last word

Factor that vs the DoT from Thorn. Also, Thorn's sights are no treat to use, they obscure a lot of target. This makes Hawkmoon easier to use at a longer range. "IF two critical shots are landed" is the operative phrase in your paragraph. How many shots does Hawkmoon fire in the time Thorn fires 2? How many does a Vex fire? How about Suros? Red Death? Galahad-E? I've won a lot of firefights against Thorn lately, lost a lot, too. Its main statistic is: Causes annoyance in players killed repeatedly by it: 85%.

Op ignoring the fact that you need to burn them to death with only 2 shots. That raises its TTK.

I'm glad you posted an image of Thorn. I may not have known which weapon you were referring to otherwise.

Tlw is by far stronger than thorn, and Now that the vex has been buffed I'm getting killed by that most of the time.
