Getting Thorn is absolute torture for Hunters
For all the Warlocks and Titans out there that hate Hunters when they take out your whole team with Arc Blade, just know that you have solace when we Hunters don't have Atheon's Epilogue and try to do the Thorn challenge.
It was a bounty back when fusions and shotguns were overpowered. Not it's just painful running around with a shotgun and playing thirty [u][/u] [u][/u] [quote][/quote]

Did it with my hunter using praedyth's revenge as my only void weapon. Took 10 games. Quite enjoyed it actually.

I finished that bounty early on when I only had a hunter. Used a blue fusion rifle only. Took a few hours of rumble and was done. You can do it

1 ReplyIt's a lot better with a void primary. I struggled with it though, as all I had void-wise was a common fusion rifle I bought from the gunsmith.

Get some better void weapons that's all and yes it is a breeze to do with a warlock void grenades and nova bombs all day long

Just use Word of Crota, Swordbraker, Truth got it in 5 matches not that hard

It's not too bad I got mine as a hunter, used a rare void fusion rifle and truth.

Try running skirmish matches. Hang in the back and let your teammates weaken them. That's how I got mine

It is true that among the 3 classes hunters have the hardest time. But still easily doable.

Just Took my void sniper rifle and started the Run. Two hours and it was easily done!

1 ReplyYeah, this is why I ignore all the crying about it in the Crucible. I've done that bounty twice, before and after acquiring Atheon's Airsoft Rifle, and it only took me a few hours to complete it the second time, compared to a day and a half of spiked blood pressure due the first time LOL... So, yeah, Thorn haters gonna hate. -blam!- 'em.

It was harder before TDB, you only got one decent primary for it: Atheon´s Epilogue. Now you can get WOC and make it easier, even without a Void subclass.

Only class that would make this bounty somewhat easier is the (voidwalker) warlock. Even in that case, 99% of your kills will come from void weapons.

I did it as a defender way back when the mythoclast was absurd and even though I had void grenades and melee all I had was a blue void fusion rifle and it was some slow going...
