Why does Bungie let drug addicts constantly break the CoC on the forums?
Personally I'm tired of all the pot heads coming to these forums (which are frequented by teenagers who don't need such an influence in their life) singing the glories of marijuana. It's against the Code of Conduct yet nothing ever happens, why?

Look it up, Article 6, Clause 2 of the U.S. Constitution. The Federal government can raid any state that claims it is legal in a heart beat because it is still quite illegal.
Edit: People really need to learn what "Freedom of Speech" means. Do they not teach this stuff in school anymore? Back in my day we had to pass a test before being allowed into secondary school that shows you understand the Constitution.
Edit 2: Due to all the GOP bashing let it be known I am incredibly far left on the political spectrum. Just because I do not condone illegal and destructive behaviors does not make me a right-wing extremist.

5 RepliesMarijuana can cause anxiety and panic attacks. Which can cause people to lash out. It also can cause people to become depressed and suicidal. Long term use of marijuana results in lack of ability to learn and retain information, lack of motivation, and it suppresses the immune system. I believe it was 40% of adult males test positive for marijuana upon arrest. Long term use can also lead to brain abnormalities. It is the second most found intoxicant in fatal car crashes and is the main gateway drug. But hey, if you want to live in the "it's harmless" world. So be it.

12 RepliesPot is no big deal. How many people die from marijuana every year? Oh yeah, None. Yet it's still illegal in some states and at a federal level. But how many lives does alcohol clam every year? Thousands upon thousands. But yet it's perfectly legal. Marihuana helps so many people with chronic pain, chronic nausea from cancer and other diseases. And in regards to influence I know many people that are very successful, respectful, responsible, and kind that use marijuana. Can you say the same about people you know that are alcoholics? Do you ever hear about abusive parents that use marijuana? Hell no.

Nobody who works for the state of Colorado can arrest you for possessing it legally. Federal agents IN the state can arrest you for it however. Just because federal law trumps state law doesn't mean states have to listen to it.

7 RepliesI must be completely stoned because I have no clue what this has to do with a video game. While your are entitled to freedom of speech you may not want to use it to be an idiot. You should actually do some research on why its illegal rather than the fact that it is. While doing this research you should look at how many people did from marijuana every year compared to the amount that die from perfectly legal alcohol or even caffeine. Marijuana is a plant that needs nothing done to it besides adding heat when alcohol has to be made by man. The affects of alcohol last for hours poisoning the body while marijuanas effects last an hour or so and release natural endorphins also not destroying the immune system and brain cells despite what you might have been told. BOOOM!!! YOU JUST GOT SERVED BY A "Stoner". Also I must ask what you are going to do in 5 to 10 years when its 100% legal?
