So after reading through yet another news update from Bungie I scrolled down to see what people thought of it and found that even after they said they wanted to hear from the players, they had shut down the comments. That's a first, I mean Bungie has gotten really good at using a lot of words to say nothing.
This was my favorite part of the update, "Our goal is to figure out what will result in the best experiences and make the most players happy. Every day, we have to think about how we allocate our time. Some plans can be surprisingly complicated to execute." <-- bascially means we have to do the least amount possible that will keep the fans on board whilst using the least amount of money.
What do you guys think?

they need to make a post and freaking ask us whats wrong with the raid and anyone who is harassing them just mute them and move on. i dont understand why bungie keeps pushing its community away but always says its listening. i am fine that they closed the comment section but in no way did they give the people who are actually trying to communicate a chance to tell them other stuff, i have found more than plenty of other crotas end bugs that were not mentioned in that bungie help link

4 RepliesEdited by Senor Crouch: 3/13/2015 5:42:37 AMI find the poll to be slightly bias as my stance on the matter is that Bungie is doing a bad job of communicating not so much listening. I believe they are listening, though I do not believe it to be a great job. On the same note I do not believe they are doing a terrible job at listening either. Now there is a lot to be desired from this update, this is true, but I do not see this update as bad. We've got a lot more clear definitive answers from this update than we have, I daresay, almost all previous updates combined. We now know that Vault Space is being worked on and we know some long standing Raid fixes are being worked on (even though this was still pretty vague). I am relatively grateful for this week's update and I'd like to let DeeJ know that. It is obvious to me by now that Bungie has no idea what the community defines as a "good update." I hope DeeJ finds this response to let him know that this update is headed in that direction. Not there yet, but it is definitely headed there. As far as closing the comments goes, that is definitely strange. The only thing I can think of is that DeeJ got such a backlash from the absolutely unacceptable update from the week prior that he decided to shut off comments for this week. Unfortunately for DeeJ that will only reinforce the community's suspicion that Bungie really doesn't want to hear from us. EDIT: Nvm, evidently the reason behind shutting down comments was b/c all the crap and/or all the different topics that people usually post in those comment sections. I suppose that makes sense.

Well they specifically said in the update for people to make new threads detailing their thoughts and concerns. It's not like they said "We don't want any feedback on this!"

1 ReplyHow are they doing a bad job? They are giving you the things u ask for! -blam!-ing vault space. Jeez
-
3 RepliesI think, until they produce some meaningful raid/bug fixes, it's falling on deaf ears for me. If the next expansion continues to have the same issues in regards to raids, I won't be renewing my dlc subscription fee.

1 ReplyNot surprising. I don't envy deej always having to be the bearer of no news.

I'm guessing you're a glass half empty kind of guy.

I noticed it too. I was gonna make a post inquiring about it, but don't really need to. I guess they finally got tired of reading through all the toxic comments to their skimpy 'weekly updates'.
-
2 RepliesI mean it only took several months to finally bring up more vault space in another weekly. Knowing Bungie, they will "accidentally" delete 10 slots from the vault and "accidentally" they will all be the slots that stored the exotic weapons.

I'd shut the comments down too. Un appreciative gamers.

They pointed out that they are working on fixing some things that the players have been requesting to be fixed, good nuf for me
