One solution: Anti-Nerfing For PvE
There's only one solution to this, really. Bungie, you need to separate the stats of guns like how you did the shotguns. PvP weapons should work differently than PvP weapons as far as stats go. What I mean is, the stats on a weapon should be how it's intended for in PvE(case in point, the super hard to get exotics; like, NC should be the best gun in the game next to the MC in PvE) and for PvP the weapon should be balanced with every other weapon-type it's in.
[b][u]Ex[/u][/b]: Auto rifles in PvP should be balanced with every other auto rifle in PvP, but PvE auto rifles should all be unique and off-balanced to one another.
This would really solve the problems with guns being nerfed all across the board for PvP and PvE. People will be glad.

I think the solution is much simpler... Bungie should not nerf guns, ever... The Vex pre-DLC was the most powerful weapon, and rightfully so, because you could only obtain it by beating Atheon on hard. Then, PVP players who came across it started crying nerf, and now post-nerf it is an average weapon. If Bungie just ignored the whining in the first place, then all those PVP players might be motivated to get the Vex for themself

Good post, quite tired of my ARs being nerfed in this game due to the PvP crowd and Bungie giving shit excuses. My Epilogue is about to become scrap(shouldn't take 70 rounds with oracle disruptor to kill 1 oracle) and Necro is about useless to me now. Back to smacking mobs and PvP scrubs with Thorn I guess.

I used to use atheon's epilogue to mow down shielded psions in the nightfall with ease now I need to 84 clips just to kill one while aimed and crouched.

Speak the truth! It sucks that we PvErs suffer through the constant whining about 'oh this guns too OP #bungienerf' from most of the PvPrs, resulting in a nerf which does much more damage than good to the PvE players

looks like BUGGIE strikes again with this latest stack of horse s&^t ,(error code marionberry) the usual blame shifting tactics by the same usual idiots... im in FLA. Here,same error code for 3+ hours...and remember folks, we PAY for this service !!!! it seems as if MARION BARRY (crack smoking mayor) must be running things at BUGGIE, also i am , unfortunately a comcast/x-finity VICTIM ,and it seems as if they are just as incompetent as BUGGIE !!!( i can absolutely speak with 100% accuracy on that issue...)
