36-0 in Salvage because of Heavy ammo...
What are your thoughts? Should Bungie change this?
Edit 1: It looks like I will be playing a lot of inferno! Heavy only occurs once per round and no heavy drops!
-
Their should be one heavy ammo spawn in the middle of the map so both teams would have to fight for it
-
I think heavy ammo should spawn at random locations to draw people off. As soon as lord shaxx says heavy is on the way, most people or the entire team goes to the spawn location. Since bungie is really into the number 7, there should be 7 separate locations.

1 ReplyI know sometimes heavy ammo can be OP, I got more than 5.0 ( I can't remember my rating but I know it was more than 5) but most of times, when you get heavy ammo you get killed by another guy with heavy ammo and sometimes it's only one guy in the other team that stayed alive with heavy ammo so I don't think bungie need to change things that involves the heavy ammo in pvp, the thing that you must be worried about is the special weapons and how they're being used
-
2 RepliesI'd like a separate game mode with its own playlist (preferably Control if only one playlist) without heavy or special weapons, just two primaries you could switch between at will, and no supers either, just melee and grenades (and any intellect a person has would be divided between strength and discipline just for the match so it's not wasted). I like Crucible as it is now but I think there's room for a more toned-down experience as well, Inferno took it in the wrong direction where they reduced the point bonuses for everything besides killing (which is just stupid) and by still having special and heavy weapons and supers at all, I for one will never touch inferno but I'd still love an alternate game type where I could actually use a primary weapon every so often.

Edited by GRIM: 3/27/2015 3:33:56 AMChoice of heavy weapons is more important than the heavy ammo. I have seen guys with heavies that hold 300+ rounds that spray bullets everywhere except the target. I'll stick with my Swarm. Heavy ammo drops play a big part in keeping the game moving. In most games I've played guys who try to camp on the heavy drop spot don't last. It gives guys something to push for in non objective game types. Heavy can be a real game changer too, that always keeps it interesting.

1 ReplyI just wish that heavy ammo would not spawn in the same two spots all the time, instead it would spawn in random locations and you had to go look for it.
-
Its fine the way it is. I've taken out many people with heavy using just a handcannon. Although I did get my first 15 kill streak with 12 kills being from thunderlord. Ended up going all the way to 21 before match ended. Could not stop laughing because before that my highest was like 12 or 13

Heavy is like the rockets of halo, you need to control it. (:
-
You need to be fast and think fast. If people cant do that then they should stay out.
-
Drop less and get less points per kill.
-
Stupid...
-
Take it out completely it will make people cry less about getting -blam!- by heavy
-
If one or two people get a heavy... Not really. When the entire team gets it (in skirmish or other game modes) then yes.
-
Heavy in skirmish or rumble was a completely stupid idea from the beggining It was a super campy noobtube spam fest b4 denying heavy transfers
-
I like it how it is, but i'd be open to some small changes. I like that heavy ammo is a major swing. Every game is built around map control and maneuvering. The amount of say... rockets you get, when combined with tracking or proxy explosion (both, Truth!) is enough to really swing things when half your team picks up ammo. Maybe 1 less rocket would be good, especially in 3 vs 3 formats.
-
Enough with the nerfing you -blam!-ing crybabies
-
Its fine as it is. It entirely depends on the players skill
-
4 RepliesOh my God when will Bungie just realize they screwed up PvP beyond repair and just get rid of it. It was dead on arrival when they hooked it into PvE and unbalanced everything. Halo had great multiplayer because everyone used the same weapons, this "make your own legend" crap is making me sick.
-
Reduce heavy amount. If I grab 30+ ammo for Jolders then you lose. Roughly 8-9 times
-
3 RepliesReduce Rocket ammo. Right now every scrub can get easy 3-4 kills with them.
-
Wait so this isn't satire?
-
Heavy works greats. Everyone hears the announcement that heavy is coming. Everyone has a chance at heavy ammo. Fair is fair.
-
If you can keep heavy the whole game you deserve it. With all the ohk supers and shotguns.
-
3 RepliesThere's one heavy drop during the game
-
All I learned from that video was how terrible Swordbreaker is.
-
3 RepliesNo change!!! And please, gimme back my heavy drops when I kill someone :(
