When you see a 32 in PvP...
...what's your first impression?
Mine is usually...

I can't imagine how confused they must be when they're getting dominated by a level 26/28 (Sometimes I like to wear the PS-Exclusive armor) with a blue scout rifle and the first sniper rifle you get in the game (Stalker BNGL & Calcutta FTW)

Only crucible I play is iron banner the rest is no fun for me, I am a 32 but I usually run 31 in iron banner.

Blue guns? I'll keep using my exotic Handcannons and legendary guns with a million perks lol. I agree on the armor though.

I don't assume anything from the level number. It just means the guy has some stuff dressed up on his character and in the case of 32 - at the moment - that he's been raiding. That number says zero about skill in pvp. He could be a beast or could be a nullity. There's awesome 32s playing pvp and there's awful 32s playing pvp. There's level 9s that are obviously second characters that do really well and 9s that don't know left from right. So what do I think ? nothing. ps - I do wish there was some visible number just like the light number and grimoire number that a player could have to show off his prowess in pvp. Maybe ranks as in other games. I did make a request on feedback for that a while back.

Nothing against PvE players but I do believe you should give respect when it is due. A lvl 32 in crucible means.... This homie is a baller and doesnt care about reload gloves. This guy is a so called PvE "scrub", in which case he will probably still play well. Cuz lets face it beating crotas raid is not something you casually do by yourself and teamwork is key in both PvE and PvP. When it comes down to it though if you made one of the top teams in Destiny like "god squad" a raid boss very few teams would be able to beat that raid and the number of so called PvE teams would be less than the number of PvP teams to finish it.

We earn our sweat and blood gear by accomplishing some of the hardest feats in the game. So yall crucible scrubs can take a back seat in my Crota ship. Peace out bitchez

Hardly getting much more than a dozen kills per game means you either camp, or leave after you start dying. Kind of tough when you're not camping in control and randoms on the other team won't just walk into your sights, huh?

3 RepliesPVP only matters during the Iron Banner and I would love to see you try to own all the 32s then because I doubt it happens. On a personal level I know I suck at PVP but level 31 gear or as you would like to call it PVP gear does nothing that makes you better in PVP so what does it matter if I wear raid gear or crucible gear? The reason you own people higher your level in regular PVP is not because of your skill it is because level advantages are disabled in regular PVP.

Because anything aside from maybe a faster reload time with your primary is gonna affect the outcome much...

...the only thing you need to change are the gloves and helmet... helmet not even really... but the gloves cause it's the only item that increases reload speed. Other than that, raid gear it up.
