In like, grade 4-5 a cop visited our school to talk about what to do when confronted by strangers. And she asked me to stand in the front of the class and state what to do when confronted by someone...
My exact words: "Kick him in the nuts"
I still think that's a better answer than "Scream and run" if I'm a 8 year old and some 40 year old drives up to tell me to get in his van I'm not trying to outrun the guy, he has a -blam!-ing car. But if he gets out to grab me, I think the logical thing to do would be kicking him in the nuts and THEN running.

The cop? Well they just stared at me in shock, the class laughed, and the teacher goes "what about yelling and running?" And I was like "well sure if you WANT him to chase you" and she told me to sit down.
