Hard mode Crota- genuine question about rocket launchers.
I haven't been blessed by rngesus with ghorn. I was able to beat hard mode using Truth, while others had ghorn and HOC. My question is should I continue using Truth or possibly change it up to Dragons Breath? Until I get ghorn or HOC these are my options. Thoughts?
Edit. Looks like I'm sticking with Truth until I'm further blessed, lol.
As a secondary question, just out of curiosity, are machine guns a viable option at all? Or is that just crazy talk?

Well DB has the solar flare allowing continual damage against him while reloading but truth has tracking and I believe does more damage.

Tracking is a must.

4 RepliesYeah there really shouldn't be a question dragons breath or truth? Tracking is the way too go when fighting Crota. I always make it clear with my hard raid Crota teammates do they have a good tracking launcher. Ghorn, Truth and Hunger of Crota to name a few.

1 ReplyDragons breath can actually force crota to move, often to a location the sword bearer does not want. Keep using any tracking rockets you have, and whenever possible minimize blast radius in favor of rocket speed or other perks.

5 RepliesIn my honest opinion I would continue using the Truth until you either get a Ghorn or HOC. The reason I say this is because one missed rocket could be devastating to the sword bearer for one, and two like all other enemies in the game the solar flares tend to make them move. I would stick to anything you own with tracking.
