How do you counter Vex Mythoclast in Crucible?
Title says it all. I was playing some Crucible last night and ran into a fireteam of 3 or 4 Vex users. Needless to say, many tears were collected.

Couple of shots of thorn to the head and then casually walk away... Also my efrideet's spear or ldr are hard to argue with.

Depends on engagement distance. At short range shotgun to face. At long range use a scout rifle(I love VoC for this). At medium distance it's generally best to not challenge them. A SUROS can outgun them on occasion but it's usually better to run.

way i do it is move to the side and aim for the head with my ar or fusion. u can also jump in the air and throw shxt at them.

Scout rifle, a trusty hand cannon, a good auto rifle. Also, keep to long range engagements.

Mida. The vex fires too slow. Ill strafe those shots all day.

Distance is the vex mythoclast's greatest weakness. Being a fusion rifle, it suffers a significant damage penalty when utilized outside its effective range. This is why I prefer the range and accuracy upgrade over the extended mag. It still cannot trump weapons such as Thorn and Suros Regime at extended ranges, but it definitely helps give it an edge in long-distance encounters. The vex also appears to be weaker in extreme cqc situations; I've found that a shotgun trumps the vex most of the time. Ultimately, range and mobility are the two greatest counters for the vex. Always stay mobile, never attempt to tank vex rounds, and try to either close the gap or move outside the vex's effective range. Good luck, guardian.

Last word, fusion rifle/shotgun, thorn. Range Id say suros/sniper rifle. I haven't had an issue with a mythoclast in Pvp in months.

I just camp with a shotgun and stealth cloak, bitches never see it coming and it works everytime
