Don't get me wrong every time I see the yellow square on the right side of my screen I get a happy sensation, but there are some I could live with out. Like the truth. It really doesn't live up to an exotic weapon. The only cool thing is it seeks it target aggressively. Looks like a vanguard rocket launcher. Just sucks. Plain sucks. At least I have hawkmoon. What is the exotic you hate to see in the right side of your screen?

Edited by oO Your dad Oo: 1/21/2015 4:10:43 PMIf I had the PS4 version I'd say, the Monte Carlo. Otherwise I'd have to say the No Land Beyond. Other then those two, each exotic has their own perks to make them useable is most situations. I can understand if you don't play crucible, then most exotics would seem useless. Pocket Infinity: Decent PvP and PvE weapon Thorn: An amazing PvP weapon, ok in PvE; most effective against targets who's shields regenerate fast Bad Juju: post patch; this weapon is great in both PvP and PvE Invective: I rarely use shotguns in PvE unless I'm goofing off, and I would never use this one in PvE; this weapon is best used in PvP — range is amazing Super Good Advice: ....it's one of those that's like 'meh'. But I'd say if you need a light machine gun, this is good fun in both PvP and PvE when upgraded Truth: One of the best rocket launchers for PvP; very good in PvE as well, mostly against large numbers or minotaurs Gjallarhorn: "It's not a Gjallarhorn, unless it has Wolfpack rounds." Enough said Dragon's Breath: I honestly wouldn't use this unless it was solar burn and I didn't have my Gjallarhorn (but I have 3 maxed out lv32 Gjallarhorns) Patience and Time: Decent in PvE; Amazing in PvP Icebreaker: Best gun in the game Plan C: Godlike arc fusion rifle. One of the best exotic weapons in game. Hard light: meh; best for PvE against hordes of enemies like Thralls Red Death: Don't sleep on this weapon, it's godlike in the right hands. Was best post patch, but still great both PvE and PvP. MIDA Multi-Tool: Decent scout rifle, best in PvP; no real use for it in PvE Universal Remote: PvP only, unless you -blam!-ing around in PvE. Amazing range when fully upgraded SUROS Regime: Best auto rifle in the game Vex Mythoclast: Best when fully upgraded; very good PvE weapon, great PvP weapon Again, I don't have ps4 version so I can't comment on the Hawkmoon or Monte Carlo. I also have not earned a Thunderlord yet from RNGesus. Edit: oh yeah, and Radiant Dance Machines seem useless. Other exotic gear is amazing though.

- universal remote - invective - super advice - dad juju they all suck imo
-
Well I guess anything not titan armor oriented :D But if I were a hunter I could never bring myself to use the "don't touch me" gauntlets They made a coward exotic, even though it's very useful I am too focused on being a tank and not a chaffee (scout)

Hard light, Universal Remote, No Land Beyond, And Truth are all just collecting dust in my vault right now
-
Never ever gonna use a suros. Most boring gun in game imo.
-
Red Death, Universal Remote, Pocket Infinity, Invective, Hard Light, Super Good Advice
-
SGA I hardly ever use, Invective too these days. Disagree on Truth though, I use it in crucible a bit.
-
I own every exotic a only use Ghorn
-
Both of my Dragon's Breath, Last Word, Thorn, Mida Multi Tool, Gjallarhorn (unless they come out with better legendary primaries), Nechrochasm, No Land Beyond, Plan C, Suros Regime, Pocket Infinity, Bad Juju as soon as I finish the bounty for the third time, and Knucklehead Radar (hunter helmet) I only use Red Death and Ice Breaker the rest gather dust.

6 RepliesDragons breath. And for armor, i would have to say ruin wings

Bad Juju. And Plan C, but only because it's on the alt character I barely use.

1 ReplyThe truth is amazing. I bet your just usuingb it in the wrong situation. Most hardcore players have learned that every pc of gear, every exotic weapon ect even abilities are most effective in certain situations. Truth is best used in Crucible. Those aggressive seekers are meant for an almost guaranteed kill against other players because standard seeking and straight line rockets are really easy for another player to dodge. This isn't an issue in pve because your shooting at computer generated enemies who can't react like a normal player.
