Exotics should be banned from crucible!
Reason being is all of the players who play crucible ruin the experience on the PvE side every time they call for a nerf, every time they get owned by them! These weapons should be OP for PvE to give you an edge and advantage in the wild because you've worked your ass off to level yourself and those weapons to kick some ass! PvP players (unless it's iron banner) literally have no reason to level up because the levelling advantages are disabled in PvP! I think exotics should be disabled in PvP and brought back to their original state! But other's may think differently so, feel free to add your input!

I said this in another thread but it bears repeating we as a community have far less to do with buffs and nerfs that bungie conduct then some would like to believe. They have data on weapon use and the numbers are where change happens more then anyone's bitching be it pvp or pve player.

2 RepliesI dont think exotics should be banned from the Crucible, thats way too harsh. I dont like when people say that something or someone should be BANNED, cause banned, you know, means forever. I say that all weapons besides exotics get beefed up a bit, just so if someone has a Shingen, then they can at least compete with all of the good exotics.

I don't mind the thought of nerfing things or buffing them for the sake of making things more balanced. For instance the pulse rifles desperately need a PvE buff. They're OKish in PvP but still not great. However there is a line that should not be crossed. They need to not nerf something into oblivion just to buff it and then nerf it again. I understand some balance must be met, but sheesh. The biggest weapon that may be on the nerfing block might just be Thorn. So many posts about it being OP. I like hand cannons, but I find it hard to use in PvP. I use bad juju and no land beyond more. It's just preference. Heck, I've been destroyed by kvostov (I don't remember exactly how to spell it so forgive me) before. Does that gun deserve a nerf? No, the guy using it was just better than me. Which isn't saying much, I suck at PvP but my point still stands. Do I believe thorn should be nerfed? Not necessarily. Maybe tweaked a little, but not made worse.

Exactly......Whats the point of having an exotic weapon if everyone who solely plays Crucible bitches to high hell until the Exotics are nerfed down to the point where they are no better than a regular Legendary Weapon....When I use an Exotic weapon I want it to feel Exotic, because, well, thats how its suppose to feel when using it.... The Biggest problem is the fact that PVP players don't want to venture out into the PvE side of the game in order to do the nightfalls/weeklies/Vanguard strikes, where you have a higher chance of obtaining an Exotic, or the Coins in order to buy them from XUR....I'm sorry but if people don't wanna put in the effort to at least try and obtain these Exotics, then they have no right to ask for a nerf... "He has a weapon I don't, but I don't wanna try and get that weapon, cause it means I actually have to play the other half of the game, so nerf it"

3 RepliesExotics aren't meant to be op, but I don't think they should be banned I think bungie should simply ignore the complaints on them, by ignore I mean release a statement that basically says we won't be nerfing, but we will be buffing, underpowered guns will be usable etc

3 RepliesWhat happens to exotic weapon bounties? Spend all this time in crucible to not be able to use it in crucible? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Sounds like taking shrapnel launchers, shock pistols and those weird r[b]a[/b]pey guns away from the fallen.

They should take exotic weapon bounties out of PvP, it's annoying that most exotic bounties require crucible grinding in some way.

3 RepliesI'm not a noob. I think all guns that i don't have need to be nerfed untill I get it then it should be buffed to do eight jillion damage for just me. And let just me use all exotic armor and weapons. Also nerf anything that can kill me in less that 3 mags. Only then will it be fair and balanced

If it PvP had, from day one, excluded exotic weapons then it would have kept the PvP whiners from nerfing the exotics and then there might have been more reason to play PvE. Now the 'exotic' weapons are status items more than they are actually special.

4 RepliesAllow everyone to create a fourth character for crucible use only. This character can only use blue weapons and armour when maxed out. The Iron Banner remains an anything goes contest all weapons get rebuffed to their original release stats no nerfing required again.

I do not think exotics should be banned if you took the long hard and WASTED time to earn it even by LUCK you should be able to use it anywhere
