crota now next to impossible
just spent the last 2 hours trying to kill crota. he gets up after one hit moves faster than before. ogres spawn after 1 sword bearer WTF

Hes easy with a good crew and a 32 to manage the sword. 10 minutes from CP.

Maybe you suck yo...? I did had a group of 6, but 2 were level 27, so they couldn't help. It's quite easy

This isn't true. He does stand up a split second quicker and takes a half second longer to down but that's all. I've completed several times since the update. I spent a good part of Monday on LFG helping groups at CROTA by running the sword. 10 tries was the most with one group. First try on another. Just depends who you get in your team and if they have the right amount of firepower.

We beat the whole raid with only four people last night in about a half hour.

How long is it take you to kill the swordbearer? If you take too long the ogres will spawn afterwards.

1 ReplyDid it last night in two Swords, seemed the same. But this isn't the first time I have heard people say he gets up quicker so maybe a bug for some users.

Did it 3 times on Tuesday and once last night and never had an issue.

1 Replyquit dragging a level 29 into the raid and replace them with a level 32 sword wielder.......problem solved.

You have to make sure the sword bearer is on him as he's going down. Not when he's already down. Also, if you notice him getting up quicker than usual, go to orbit and come back in to get on a different server.

It's not that hard just did it we had 4 ppl with g horns 2 with IB killed him quick. Its all about communication and keeping everyone alive oversoul just slowes the whole thing down. You can get 6-7 heavy hits on him with the first sowrd that takes him to half do that 2 times and he is dead.

Probably the smoothest legit run I have had yet and it was after the patch. Honestly as long as you have a decent 31 plus swordbearer and your team isnt full of complete morons....the whole raid is pretty damn easy.

Ogres not spawn in base at the number of swordbrreaker, but in base of the time, if you kill quickly the first you have time for the second if not ogres spawn

Yeah, that's how it should be IMO. Crota is supposed to be a god. What kind of god would just stand there and get smashed on by some punk with a sword? Crota is literally just a bullet sponge. I hate that part of the raid because all you do is fight off other things while one guy on the team plays a really tedious game of tag with Crota. Does it make sense that the Hive god poses less of a threat than normal hive? No, it doesn't. I don't believe there's a true boss fight in CE. The entire raid is just staying alive while getting spammed with enemies. It is nothing more than a poorly done horde mode.
