Old Raid gear drops are supposed to be 32
Weekly update 12/16/14 see for yourselves. It clearly states that future AND existing raid gear is supposed drop set at level 30 with the option to level the gear to 32 following the patch but it never happened. It's typed in a way that indicates old raid gear was to be dropped in crotas end too...

1 ReplyWell you misunderstood that greatly. It meant all Crota's End raid gear was already 30 light, because they dropped at 24 light points. So "existing" meant armor from Crota's End earned before that patch. "Future" meant then anything that drops now

It says "[u]Both existing and future Raid gear obtained in Crota's End now begins at Level 30 with an upgrade path to reach Level 32.[/u]" That means that the Crota's End gear that has already dropped for players, and the future Crota's End drops will start at light level 30. Crota's End gear used to start at light level 26 and upgrade to light level 32.

10 RepliesAre you talking about the vault of glass or Crota's end raid? It specifically states they're referring to the Crota's end raid only, and all the Crota's end gears light starts at 30, which will get you to level 30 if you have all 4 pieces of raid gear and an exotic. If you upgrade everything, then you'll be at 32. This has nothing to do with the vault of glass raid.
