Revised: Those who cheese Crota have ZERO skill
It's becoming harder and harder to find a decent group with MODERATE skill to beat Crota without cheesing. The common response: "It's easier", "It's faster", "We have a two level 30s"...WTF Is wrong with you?
I challenge you(Do you guys even LIKE a challenge???) that I will beat crota with two level 30s and myself carrying the sword...With ANY of my characters as 31, I wont even use my level 32 hunter, BEFORE you can cheese him..

11 RepliesBro i cheese crota and i bet im way better than you. I cheese it cuz i can. I used to do the full raid legit but since everyone else is cheesing it, theres no point in doing it legit if you already done it legit a couple times before. I say that because once you i did it twice legit it became as easy as the cheese. So why do it legit, which takes longer, when i can cheese the boring raid instead? I will say that when the hard raid comes out i want every cheese to be patched. Too many noobs got the raid gear already, i dont want them getting the hard raid stuff too. Im definitely good enough along with my fireteam to get the raid done on hard. The higher level will be a lot more fun and challenging compared to this easy ass crota raid we currently have. (Easy as in easy to beat not easy as in easy to cheese)

Beat it legit 3man yesterday with two 30s and my 31. I won't say crota is Super easy, but with chat and two gjallahorns he is Very easy.

I beat crota legit with only five yesterday. I don't think the lack of skill is what causes people to cheese. It IS usually faster to cheese if you are in a group of randoms and don't want to wipe over and over. I'm not saying it's a good thing but I can certainly see why people do it.

1 ReplyIf you're on Xbox 360 you can join my group. We are currently a group of 4 that go through the whole raid legit 3 times every week. Our best Crota attempt was 1 try and our worst was 3.

Lol. On Tuesday my group was doing crota and we wiped a few times as I was sword bearing for the first time and still getting the hang of the timing. We had 3 randoms with us and one of them kept complaining every time I didn't get a good run with the sword. This kid proceeds to complain about how this is longest it's ever taken him to beat crota. I'll admit i wasn't doing very well as it was my first attempts with the sword but then I recall that when he first entered the party this bitch says he's ONLY beaten crota by CHEESING. At the time we didn't care, cause my group has a solid strategy that works every time (as im sure most people do). And i was using the sword for the first time cause I was a 32 and everyone else was 31 or 30. We also delegated this kid to sniping the Knights with boomers as he claimed to have an ice breaker which he WASNT using for some reason. Anyways, we kicked this -blam!-er and at this point I had lost confidence in my sword bearing and let my buddy take over, picked up 2 more randoms(one of the others left when we kicked the annoying guy) and beat it right after that. Honestly wish we would have kicked him right before we killed crota.

Yep I agree. Made it to Crota last night with a group. There was no way in hell our group would have downed him so I say well it's a good effort but we won't be able to as nice as possible and leave. Join a group at Crota right after with a level 27 in it. I think well he's just messing around with some gear. Then I hear "ok, once both sides are clear everyone go to the left and shoot Crota until he kneels and then the leader will disconnect" -_-

I have a problem with this and the death singers. Both are pretty easy and you get I'm parties that spend so much longer avoiding them than it would take to actually beat those parts
