Vision of Confluence is my personal go-to gun. No matter the circumstance. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. This gun is freaking amazing. It's a shame it's left behind. Along with the other VoG weapons.
Here is an idea which is quite fair in my opinion. As a lot of people were saying it would make the hard Crota's End useless.
This idea would make VoG guns have the ability to have 331 damage, in an even harder way than earning Crota weapons:
In order to upgrade a VoG weapon to 331 damage. You will need a special drop you can only get on the Crota's End Hard Raid. Like the Crux of Crota for example. Or maybe even make it so dismantling a Crota's End weapon gives you a shard that can be used to upgrade VoG weapons to 331. How does that sound? This will obviously make it fair in my opinion. This way, you will HAVE to complete the hard raid in order to be able to upgrade VoG weapons to 331 damage.
Bump if you agree!
Old post:

I'm upvoting, but in all honesty, I don't see this or any of the VoG weapons getting a buff. I love my Vision of Confluence, but manyly because it has Solar damage. My new Badger hits harder for anything without a solar shield. It will always wreck house in the VoG as it is, unless they raise the difficulty. THEN maybe raise the attack rating to 331. We shouldn't always use the same weapons. This planned obsolescence insures that progress.

5 RepliesEdited by Blackwind420 : 12/28/2014 7:08:24 PMI dont feel any of the previous legendary's deserve a buff. expansions are about new weapons and armor to further your progress. that is the way most mmo type games work. I do however agree with the buffing of the exotics as they are fun to hang onto. The only gun I would consider bumping from old raid is the Fatebringer which still kicks a lot of ass. but VOC is a bland boring gun and I am glad it is never going to get a buff. If you want a VOC upgrade just buy a new legendary scout or get the new one from the raid.

6 RepliesPlease bungie, don't put 331 on guns like fatebringer and vision of confluence. It's already difficult enough unequipping them as it is. They are still the best legendary primaries. They don't need a buff.
-
1 Replytime to let it go. let the hero pass on to the halls of Valhalla

6 RepliesI disagree. As good a Scout Rifle as it is, at the end of the day it is a VoG Raid Weapon, meaning it's good for up to Level 30, but if you need the extra firepower then you're just out of luck. Vex Mythoclast definitely deserved the power boost to make it that much more special, and able to go through the Crota's End Raid, but at the end of the day the Vision of Confluence is just another Raid Weapon.

18 RepliesNo. Just no. It's a primary weapon with elemental damage; that puts it above all primaries without elemental damage. New elemental primaries will drop in January from the crota raid. It needs no buff and will be replaced next month anyway. Just chill.

3 RepliesAre you planning on the Hard Mode Crota's End primaries to suck, or are you planning on not being able to obtain them?

Just the VoC only, no other VoG weapon

Can we expand this to all VOG raid weapons and gear? I would kill to have my Atheons Epilogue or Praedyth's Revenge bumped to current standards.

Edited by eVo iGeNeTiiKz: 12/29/2014 3:25:35 AMAll be it eventually there will be about two or three other Exotic Scouts, but this gun warrants Exotic status much more than guns like Bad Juju and No Land Beyond, in my opinion and probably in the opinion of other VoC wielders!! And also BUMP!!
