A Way to Upgrade VoG Weapons to 331
Vision of Confluence is my personal go-to gun. No matter the circumstance. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. This gun is freaking amazing. It's a shame it's left behind. Along with the other VoG weapons.
Here is an idea which is quite fair in my opinion. As a lot of people were saying it would make the hard Crota's End useless.
This idea would make VoG guns have the ability to have 331 damage, in an even harder way than earning Crota weapons:
In order to upgrade a VoG weapon to 331 damage. You will need a special drop you can only get on the Crota's End Hard Raid. Like the Crux of Crota for example. Or maybe even make it so dismantling a Crota's End weapon gives you a shard that can be used to upgrade VoG weapons to 331. How does that sound? This will obviously make it fair in my opinion. This way, you will HAVE to complete the hard raid in order to be able to upgrade VoG weapons to 331 damage.

I have switched to a 331 (Another NitC) I bought from Vanguard and quite enjoy the change! I just love Outlaw perk!

It would be stupid has no one realized if bungie does that it will basically be the same as thecrotas end primary weapons expect without extra damage to hive majors

- But then it would desentivize doing CE on Hard Mode. What's the point of doing it if you already have primaries that do elemental damage (other tha getting the Necrochasm, that is) ...?

I would love to see my VoC to be have 331 attack but I don't think Bungie is gonna do it. I love that gun.

I agree with this. And for those saying it makes it too easy to get high level gear, you are just wrong. It would make these weapons on par with vendor legendaries which are terribly easy to get. If anything only new raid weapons and exotics should have been upped to 331 attack.

It would be nice if bungie made a change allowing to upgrade [u]legendaries[/u] but making all VoG gear = to Crota's end gear would make the Crota's end redundant. Not trying to rain on your parade here, just want you to know why they did this the way they did. Edit:the OP has made a second edit, I mostly agree with the idea that [u]some[/u] drops can be upgraded past 300
