why do people keep typing ROC like it stands for something?
a roc is a bird. viper eagle wolf tiger roc.... so obvious... so why do the majority of people (in my experience) think roc is an acronym? spread the word gawd i am sick of hearing "R O C" on the mic and having to correct people its tiring now i just sigh loudly llike 8 times when ever i hear it

all ive heard is it is the Return Of Crota playlist. i can see that, but i like to think big ass mythical birds are far cooler. that being said, if it is the former, it implies the final boss of the raid. the HoW DLC playlist is 'Playlist Dragon'-Ahamkaras' much?

10 RepliesWell, for one thing it is an obscure mythical animal, so it's only obvious if you google it, which means it isn't really all that obvious. I suppose it might be something you're familiar with if you are a classics major in college. If you are a classics major in college, you should probably start working on a more useful degree. The word is capitalized in the playlist text, and since it is an unfamiliar word it seems reasonable for them to read it as an acronym. If you haven't noticed, Destiny really likes acronyms. And, seeing as we're correcting things, "its" is the possessive. "It's" is the proper usage in your post, because it is a contraction of "it is".
