Why I care about cheating in Crota raid
Those of us who did it legit spent 7-10 hours on the raid the first time. We learned to communicate, practiced our timing and finally after hours of frustration took down Crota.
The reason people are frustrated against those that CHEAT not cheese is because they didn't have to put in the work in order to get the gear. They just cheat the game and get the same loot as those that put in the time. To top it off we then have to hear people come up with lame excuses on why cheating is OK.
That is why I care what other people do, because the time I put in should be worth something otherwise it cheapens the entire experience. I partially blame Bungie for letting it happen but mostly I am disappointed in the players.
Edit - I wish there was meta data attached to posts like age, income, gender, etc. It would be interesting to see how responses correlate.
Edit 2 - For those saying get a life, why do you care, why so serious. I say it is possible to care about something and not spend every waking moment thinking about it. It's not like I go to bed worrying about what other people do. It's just an interesting discussion topic with a wide variety of opinions. Using critical thinking and having a discussion on a topic that at the end of day doesn't really matter is about the same as watching videos of cats on reddit..... lol. Lots of way to waste time at work....
Edit 3 - Obviously this just a video game so exploiting isn't lawfully wrong. Morality is another issue. Of course it is also a matter of severity and damage caused. Again this is a video game so in many eyes there is a who cares attitude. I just choose to draw my line differently than other people. That wasn't my original argument but I feel like the journey should be worth something and want other people to have my same view. That is wrong and I shouldn't force my views on other people and really how can you do that on a forum but I would be willing to bet that most people are on forums to feel validated and have our beliefs confirmed. Obviously that blew up in my face. haha.

My first completion took to the last few hours of the week. I was late for finals, to school, it was terrible. But I did get a Song of it Yût. Do I care if people cheese it? Not really. I don't really care about an imaginary boss. My gear is mine, and if others have it it's not hurting anyone, no matter what way they obtained it.

My opinion is this as good as bungie can be there are alot more players looking for exploits than there are bungie employee's And while I bet my ass they fix this glitch someone always has to find the glitch before it can be fixed ...

2 RepliesWhen bungie puts in working encounters that don't bug repeatedly and waste my time, then I'll care. When mobs don't path wrong, regenerate health after being nearly dead, mobs don't walk through environmental barriers, bridges don't dissapear, swords don't disappear, event timings happen when they are supposed to, mobs take damage instead of just standing in one place seemingly immovable and immune, when none of these things happen, then I'll care.

Crota is already hard as it is but i love doing it legit its the challenge that gets me hooked honestly i did it more than i needed just because its actually fun and i like it only cheesed 2 times last night because i wanted to clear it before the reset

I agree, I enjoy doing the raid the legit way. the raid is the most fun part of the game and games are supposed to be fun People are cheating themselves out of a fun team experience with friends to just get the gear quicker

But, that being said you're still scrubs, you know it, and we know it(legit raiders). The only reason you have to cheese to get you're gear is because you will never see it any other way. I can't wait till the hard raid when no one wants to drag you're scrubby cheesing asses through the raid and you all come on the forums whining about " oh crota hard raid is too hard, it needs a nerf so us cheesers can do it". So enjoy you're cheese now and when hard raid comes, I will be waiting there to serve you a nice glass of whine with you're cheese.

I beat it the legit way 3 days after release. Took us 7 hours. I dont care if anyone cheeses for shards. Atheon cheese was gamebreaking bc of the vex and crota hard raid drops could also be a problem. But this isnt.

I deleted 3 people from my friendslist because they blatantly lied to my face about how they "beat Crota", its sad that people are falsely taking credit and risking friendships because of something as stupid as Loot in a VG. I don`t want to be associated with idividuals that probably would sell their Grandma to get their Hands on Crux of Crota and brag about it.
