The new material exchange rules... what can I say? If it aint broke don't fix it! It wasn't broke and the new changes were not fully thought out and also they didn't do research into why the exchange was the way it was. I think a new guy came along and didn't know how it worked and thought he could make it better.
Really, it was fine (although I like the poster with the universal currency idea better).
Now they broke pvp cause in order to get crucible marks to buy gear (except vanguard) pve'rs are going to HAVE to Crucible.
AFK is going to be rampant in the crucible. So now that they 'fixed' the material exchange when are they going to fix the fallout Crucible will experience?

The material system was a little broken. I absolutely agree that they should have kept the selling resources for marks/rep, but they definitely needed the buying option, and additional rewards for missions option. I wasn't upgrading my gear for that exact reason. I stayed at 27 for the longest time because I absolutely refused to scavenge for upgrade materials. Hated it. Now? I have 2 sets of armor that I'm 29 with, and my weapons are now restricted by my GLIMMER for crying out loud. The last thing I thought I would ever run out of.
