There was a lizard species with some sort of force nullification ability. One or two other types of wildlife with the same ability too.
I remember this from the West End Games official Star Wars RPG.

Oh well those were force sensitive creatures. A predator on a certain planet called the vornskr used the force to detect its prey. It's prey (the reptile you're thinking of), the ysalamari, could create a force neutral bubble to hide from the vornskr.
