I'm happy for new content but I sure hope two "dlc"'s aren't gonna be all we see of new levels weapons and story etc. Or this is one hell of an expensive beta test for Destiny 2

22 RepliesEureka!!! First, let me say that y'all have done an amazing job with updates. Almost every update has made this game better. Thank you for listening. I have been trying to think for a while of a way to add diversification (all 30s look the same right now) without making it hard on your programmers. I think I figured it out! Just like you can reforge an iron banner weapon with Lord Saladin, have Eva Levante "tailor" or "rework" raid gear. It would cost motes of light or strange coins and it would make your raid gear take on the look of any class-specific uncommon, rare or legendary gear of the matching type. This would allow every one to have complete customization and there would be no designing necessary (and hopefully minimal programming) Bonus: it would make getting a raid armor drop that you have gotten before less obnoxious!

I'm here to tell you how to get your exotics reset and leveled fast. 1) have 10 bointies with 5000 xp rewards on them. 2) get a telemetry for the weapon and radiant light. 3) repeat 1 and 2 on all characters. 4) reset your exotic. 5) use telemtry. 6) turn in all bounties at once. 7) repeat steps 5 and 6 on all characters. Share with people so they can get their exotics leveled up again.

3 RepliesFirst off your not going to have to lvl your gear all the way up to reset them, post provided on reddit by someone who has tested the dlc. Secondly the dlc is not going to automaticly reset all your gear. And last but not least, this is the important part, you dont have to reset your gear its optional in order to get them to the lvl of the new gear thats coming out on dlc. If you have trouble understanding this go play in the middle of a busy highway and do us all the favor to save us from your stupidity.

20 RepliesLeveling gear isn't that hard guys come on. Most of my gear is leveled and im now going through the stuff in my vault to see if there something to level when I go to turn in my bounties other wise its just bounty for reputation. If you do your daily missions and at least vanguard bounties you'll have your gear leveled by the time xur shows up to sell you another shard and upgrade. Plus with your nightfall xp bonus should be no problem and us xur's xp booster for ur guns. Guess im just happy to get a few new pieces of gear to hunt down.

10 RepliesSo every time a DLC comes out, the gear and weapons we have to grind for are rendered useless. All the time and effort I've put into leveling up my weapons and gear I have to reset? That's bullshi*! Wtf. Just put in an extra upgrade bubble on it to up the light and defence/damage. Pluss no dark below hard mode untill January? So that fancy new gun in all the commercials will not be available. Because they stated that primary weapons will only drop in the hard version of the raid. Once again bungie finds a way to release an unfinished product. I paid for 2 explanation packs allready, the third one better be free cuz I won't buy it. They should give it away for free just because of all of the jerking around they have been doing. Don't get me wrong I like the game and play it almost every night, but jeez man I don't want to start over all the time my dude is a bada$$ I wanna keep him that way. What do you think?

All the fixes in my opinion were good... except that one that i need to go and waste time to level up all my exotics from scratch to raise their damage. REALLY? So pretty much your are telling me i should had gotten DESTINY after the expantion pack was realeased, that way i didnt waste my time from day one... let me guess, are you doing this again when the house of wolves come out?

Everyone whining about how their farming, the telemetry, all the upgrading, or whatever else they all claim to be a "waste of time" due to the changes need to just slow down and chill. Yes, most of us love this game, as do I, but that's the thing. It's a game. All of this will be a waste of time whenever something else comes out. You'll find something else to do or play, and Destiny is spoke of as a good game "back in the day." Unless video games are a form of employment for you or are moving your life forward, it'll all just be a waste of time. I love destiny, but it's a game guys. Let it happen and play or don't play. No big deal.

It sucks when something you put a lot of time and effort into getting maxed out just to reset/dismantle it for an expansion. Bungie should of at least implemented better matts for dismantling a fully upgraded exotic. (More than just glimmer/parts/exotic shard) I am glad that I have several exotic weapons in my vault with no exp on em to test 1st on how the upgrade will work. Then decide if I will reset my favourite exotics later. (Which I probably won't) Honestly I will probably be too busy upgrading all the new ones anyways. Out with the old bring on the new!

Looking to get more raid time whether hard or normal. Lvl 28 hunter lvl 29 warlock done the raid on normal a few times with some cool peeps unfortunately get invited a lot by randoms that turn out to be total assholes who think their shit don't stink. While I may not be the best I can definitely hold my own. On xbox 360 usually home and on by 6pm eastern. I don't have a mic but can follow advice or direction. Would love to find a clan that enjoys the game and down for their clan mates.

22 RepliesWhat would be nice is if bungie actually told us what was happening in plain English, then all this rumour mongering wouldn't be so bad. I was under the impression that if I got the iron banner gear and fully upgraded it, I could hit 30. Wrong. Ok, my bad, maybe I misunderstood but things need to be explained. In the trailer for the dark below he says you don't have to be level 30 but it helps. Is that for the story, strike or raid? Now it appears that at least 1 of the fire team for the raid had to be 30. Ok, haven't got a team, so I will miss out again. My bad again. The exotics, the whole reset thing needs to be explained fully or this forum will be full of people screaming about how unfair it is. Yes, it is potentially unfair for all of us that have exotics who have spent time effort and materials into upgrading them, but I still can't work out just what the reset means. Since the changes to the cryptarch rep, it's taking forever to gain levels. Vanguard isn't too bad, for now. This whole commendation thing, one level, one piece of armour? Really don't see the reason for such restrictions. When all is said and done, I still enjoy the game, and I still play every day. From the first hour of playing I was definatley gonna buy the dlc, now, not so sure. If I do, I will have a total of 4 to get, me, boyfriend and my 2 teenage sons. That's £140, for me that's a really considered purchase, especially this time of year. I'm sorry bungie but I need convincing, I need facts, I need the truth behind the rumours or that £140 will go on extra presents for my boys.

Thanks bungie, this is exactly what I want for Christmas. You nailed it Edit: I'm not going to keep explaining myself to everyone who isn't reading the reply threads. I'm not upset about being able to make my equipment better. Yes, I understand that it is optional. I'm upset about the way we have to go about the upgrading process.
